- KMART RACING CONTINUES IT'S DOWNFALL
The liquidation specialists of NASCAR are at it again, and that will be the driving topic of today’s video. It was announced last week that Roush Fenway Racing would cease operations for its XFINITY Series program after fielding the #16 and #60 entries last season. After 26 years in the NASCAR XFINITY Garage, the team will cease to exist within the series in 2019. Watch the entire video to find out why!

Looking at things on the bigger scale, it makes sense why Jack shut down this Program, Ryan Reed's 2018 Season was Lack-Luster at best and the 60 car was a Practical Time Bomb on the Track...
Jack Roush switch to Toyota???? Yeah....not going to happen. You must not have been around when Toyota came into nascar and Jack's efforts to keep them out of the sport. Jack would go out of business before switching to Toyota.
The best bet for Roush is to form an alliance with Roger Penske or Stewart-Haas if they want to stay relevant.
Yeah it was a good video untill that part lol
Remember the darkside comment about Kenseth?
@@smardongaming That's when I stopped watching to, as I said out loud to myself.. "Ya right..like that's ever going to happen". lol
Now nobody knows what will happen next...
And I'm just going to throw this out there, what if a team like ThorSport Racing comes in and buys up most of the RFR Xfinity Program Assests to set up their own Xfinity Team for the first time? I'm not saying it will happen, but crazier changes have happened in the last year and a half...
Motorsports Fan17 ThorSport has a 4-truck team in trucks full of successful truck drivers. I don’t see them making a charge to the Xfinity series that surprising.
Ben Rhodes could be the driver. He's hasn't announced anything for next year and has sponsorhip
@@acegarcia3719 plus Ben Rhodes competed in xfinity back in 2015
That would be cool, GMS moved up with Gallagher, ThorSport are more the capable
Like Kmart, Roush has empty buildings and storefronts where the Xinify and truck shops we're once located on their campus.
I'm sorry, but you're insane. Joining an alliance with Joe Gibbs is what put Furniture Row out of business and it will put Levine Family Racing out of business in a couple years. Roush has such a long and storied connection with Ford that they will never leave them for Toyota or Chevy. What they need is good and well marketed drivers (i.e. Matt Kenseth, Kurt Busch, Carl Edwards) that can attract good sponsors. They don't have that. Now Ryan Newman is a good step in the right direction for that kind of thing, but they need to attract the successful younger drivers coming into the sport to give themselves a boost.
Roush also hates Toyota and Jack accused those "Ankle Biting Chihuahuas"(Toyota) of stealing his parts
Levine family racing is for sale now because of COVID-19
Well, you’re half-right
We need Thorsport racing to join Xfinity
I think the curse is they put Chris in the 34 car instead of a Roush Fenway car
I was hoping that Ty would've gotten the #60 full time to prepare to replace Newman, now his career is effectively over since he's going back to super late models.
Roush switching Manufacturers may not be completely out of the question, since Roush performance does help in developing Dodge Rams and Dodge even approached Roush to switch back in 2012.
RFR has also fired hundreds of employees the last decade. They had around 600 people across all 3 series to probably around 200.
The Next Video you make should be about what is quite possibly the most Interesting Silly Season Move: Jeffrey Earnhardt driving JGR's #18 car in Select Xfinity Starts next year...
Performance Plus will most likely stay with the #6.
Weiner mobile time
Honestly, the #60 would've been better with Cup leeches driving it.
Roush Racing started to go down hill in my eyes when Mark left the 6 car...
6:30 A few weeks before the first race, Team Penske announced that Austin would be running in the Xfinity Series full time driving for them while Austin was not driving Roush scheduled races. Of course Roush had to let Cindric drive the 60 at Daytona so he could have been eligible for the championship.
I think Roush needs to line up to switch manufacturers when Nissan or Dodge enters in a few years. They are simply an afterthought and are 3rd on the toem poll behind SHR and Penske. A new manufacturer would inject money for R&D and staff members, allow them to expand back to the Xinify and truck series, and could be the top priority for the new manufacturer and make RFR great again.
“With that said however”
Limestone Butter Take a shot whenever he says that
Where will penske/wood bros/Stewart haas get their engines from?
Honestly Jack Roush is not on his game as a team owner, from what I saw out of him when Matt Kenseth was announced as the part-time driver of the 6, he seemed to be tired and worn down. I think someone in his family or even Mark Martin and Matt Kenseth need to start running the organization before it's too late.
Roush's biggest mistake was pushing Chris Buescher off to other race teams, had they kept him in one of their cup cars or even kept him in their Xfinity program they would still be producing results.
Drivers like Austin Cindric, Chase Briscoe and Ty Majeski were too much of a liability for the team and shouldn't have been in that position, especially considering they had no sponsorship to fund the 60.
As for the cup side, next year will be another year full of inconsistency with Stenhouse and now Ryan Newman in those cars. They will be lucky if Stenhouse can pull another upset at Daytona or Talladega, because otherwise I don't see either team being able to point their way to a playoff spot.
Roush was a top tier team until Japan came aboard with the ton of factory money from Toyota. It took a while first with the Trucks then Bush and now Cup to dominate. Childress can barely compete with just one win, Hendrick is struggling and only Penske and SH racing are competing with Toyota on a regular basis. Who would have thought that a football coach and a water bed manufacturer could dominate in NASCAR. Jack Roush warned everybody that competing against Japan is nearly impossible. He was right.
RD Roush played himself, look where Toyota is now and look where his team is at now
Honestly they should have put Stenhouse and Bayne in the 60 for a couple races. They’re at least decent in Xfinity and would have not wrecked the car and would most of the time finish on the lead lap.
Maybe Matt Kenseth too
Should have put Kevin Conway in it, he wouldn't finish a worth a fuck but would have finished without wrecking it
Shelby products have always been better than Roush
What does that have to do with Roush shutting down their xfinity team?
Orca Flop Saleen is better as well
Pretty soon it's going to be the NASCAR Toyota cup series
brandon hutton not really they have three teams in the cup and a total of 6 cars with the only competitive ones being Gibbs
Ummm, Rousch and Yates build Ford engines for all the teams.
yes but about the slur the loudest squeak gets the grease first
Just made 69 likes turn into 70
The Moment Buescher went to the 38 in Cup while Sadler One Main Financial and the 1 Team went to JR Motorsports Mr. Roushes Xfinity Team went down to the Shitter never looking back these past 3 Years in the Xfinity Series
Jut wondering... Are you gonna change the name of the NITCS because of NASCAR cracking down on channels for using names of brands they don't own?
Are they really doing that?
NascarLiveStreams 3 Yes, it's a serious problem and NASCAR youtube channels are suffering. That is actually the exact reason Geno Harvey changed his channel name from "AflacCupSeries" to "ACS Racing Network"
= /
NintendoNascarFan I know, it really sucks. It hasn't fully taken effect yet, but I've noticed that some channels I'm subscribed to have already changed things within their channel. This may have something to do with article 13 with the whole copyright problem.
@@calebmarinelli15 so I have to change my channel name now?
Was there any way Roush could've brought his Xfinity operation to Cup? What I mean is that, could Roush have brought the personnel, sponsors, and drivers from his Xfinity Series teams and made them new Cup Series teams?
I think that the sport has passed by Jack. It's like saying the Steelers and Dolphins of the 80's should just leave. They had two of the best coaches in the sport, but the sport changed and the coaches were still doing what made them successful in the past. Nascar is not what it used to be. At any given week, almost any team could win. Now you have 3 owners with a handful of drivers fighting every week. If Nascar doesn't change, these smaller teams will be gone. When I first started watching you had a 43 car field almost every Sunday with drivers going home because they didn't make the cut. Now I don't think you could get 43 cars out their if you wanted to. You had owner/drivers. Cant afford to do that anymore. Ricky Rudd did it for a long time, but you have to have tons of money, large sponsorship deals. It's not a sport anymore it's a business. And like any business if you have money and power you're on top and if you don't, it's impossible to get there.
So glad they didn't switch
These are the final days of Roush Racing, very sad.
I say 2019 or even 2020 be there last seasons
11:26 I only just now realized that Greg Biffle and the 16 havent raced since 2016 because of you saying this. This whole time it never occurred to me that the car hasnt been on track all this time
@Chaseelliott RacingFan9 he tried the Stadium Super Trucks I think in 2018 as well. Great series that has most of the races uploaded to youtube. If you haven't seen that series, it is worth a look.
Petty is another one imo, i dont forsee bubba being able to strive with that team
They are no where close to needing JGR support. They are not that bad, but a team that does need it is Premium Motorsports...
Interesting to see now, as of Martinsville Stenhouse is comfortably in the top 16 and Ryan Newman is only just out by a slither. Put a good driver in a mediocre car and results will come. We saw an uplifting in the team with Kenseth last year and this year it would seem as if Newman and Stenhouse are slowly making something. The big issue is Newman is 41 and may only run for another 2 or 3 seasons. What happens then. Roush needs someone who is consistent in that second car such as Tift, Preece, McDowell, Di Bennedetto. None of those mentioned will be in that seat in my opinion due to their current teams. They may not be race winners but if you get someone who can run top 20 with Stenhouse, results will come.
Hell, put Buescher in that car once Newman retires. After all, Chris has some sort of talent. He isn't doing horribly in that JTG car this year.
1:09 Martin is a rookie at. Bristol because he pulls down the pits I. 1994
You’re pretty much the only RUclipsr that sounds like all the comments and that’s not a good thing
Anyone watching this after Austin Cindric is going to the cup series
Me
They are not leaving Ford...
But Roush only makes ford Modification parts. How does that make you think they'll switch to Toyota
I hate to say it but roush fenway racing is about out of nascar unless they switch manufacturers
Or go into the Perreli World Challenge or IMSA
Why? Look at Stewart-Haas and Penske, they're competitive if not damn near dominant...so wtf are you talkin about? Fuck chevy and fuck toyota....
Do some truck news like burton to the 18 Creed to the 2 or Crawford getting arrested
jack roush needs to drop ford and join toyota and jgr. one of the lamest and most ridiculous statements i've ever heard about a nascar race team, ever. roush has the same chassis and engine that penske and shr have, they even help yates build the engines. roush's problems are in the ability or chemistry of the personnel they have. i also think it's possible their chassis simulation software program leaves a lot to be desired. back when nascar allowed a lot more on track testing, roush teams were highly competitive and even dominated quite often.
I feel like dodge or Chevy would be good because Toyota would make them bankrupt like furniture row racing which I’m still torn up about
SS green light racing got 32nd in xfinity owners standings the 60 got 22nd. At 8:04
You said "SS Greenlight racing was higher than the 60" Greenlight only fieled the 76 and that car finished 32nd in the owners standings where the 60 finished 22nd.
the 36 team was DGM racing
Kmart Racing
Roush would never which manufacturer
Man bubba didn’t deserve that he was ballin and they fuckin dumped him move Ryan reed and tell his sponsor they move to this car they can get results
Jack has a passion for racing, Fenway has a passion for money
I tried to take you serious, then you suggested JACK FRICKEN ROUSCH leave Ford..... Toyota? You serious?
I’m gonna sound so dumb asking this
How was it proven the drawing was rigged for Cindric
I get he ran the full season but my question is why they even did that stupid video
What about Roush Yates engines? Aren't they ford related? Mr. Roush may make more money off of that than the money waste of racing series.
Edwards didn’t run for rookie of the year in 2005
Hey now look at Briscoe And Cindric!!! Godly drivers and have potential in cup
They have engines and chassis only thing they need to look at is the people at the shop
So we"re just not gonna talk about travis pastrana?
Carl Edwards was the only leech Everybody liked
RIP
Hate me if u want after this.... maybe Roush will bring Reed to MENCS as a threee car team.
Honestly this move for roush is a good thing
Chase&Bowman Nation988 they've been downsizing since 2010, and I never gets better. Even if the 6 shit down and they solely focused on the 17, the program would still go nowhere.
I'maBus 25 but in terms of financial they would have to spend as much money
Rough going away like petty did. 43 is a back marker.
I think a roush technical Aillance is impossible. They have infursturture and engineers working on R&D.
R.I.P caution clock are xfinity
Lol 2019 ain't looking bad for Chase Briscoe he won at Iowa
And now Brad Keselowski join Roush to be form RFK
No more laughing joke of the 60 team
F
Roush or Petty will be the next to fold.
It should have been chase briscoes ride full time for the 60 he got a win
Billy Davis Not in the 60. Plus he wrecked as much in the 60 as his co-drivers.
I’ve predicted this and I was right
Kia in NASCAR. I wanna see that. 😃
Whoa, whoa, whoa.... David Ragan has NEVER been a great driver
Oops wrong vid
