      Ricky Cheong idk why but just modding your car now makes you a Ricer. Exept for the list of these cars, Skyline, Supra, Evo, STi, FD RX7, NSX, & 240sx. You can make these cars as ugly as you want but you will still have some forms of people defending you.

    I enjoyed it, at first I thought "rice" but then you can actually see him want to do things on his own and learn from it. His welding skills and fabricating were crap but improved a lot in the video. he started to stitch weld instead of overheating the thin metal, his angles and fabricating methods got better. I wouldn't doubt he's a bit like me and doing a ton of mods on his own. This reminded me of when I first got my welder. I'm building and fabricating a lot of custom work for people now. Oh and I just picked me up a 92 civic hatchback myself for $500 doing all the work myself, think I'll settle for a 13sec all motor daily driver for now then look into upgrading the stock motor.

    I don't know what's more impressive: your fabrication skills and innovation or your ability to take the direct hit of burning metal embers to your toes. Totally badass. Nice work, and enjoy your exhaust!!!

    At the start he look like a champ with all the parts, he tries to bend the pipe without a pipe bender, buys a flex pipe, its starts to look sketchy, buys a welder and cutter.....oh boy whats he going to do with that!!! lol!!! But at the end of the vid the kid KILLS it with the cutting of joints the flange & welding bends to put together a super clean straight awesome functioning exhaust system!! Fantastic !! I had to sub!!

  • @philspaghet
    @philspaghet 9 лет назад +4

    That sounded better than expected BUT, don't weld sharp corners like that on your exhaust! It kills the car performance because the exhaust flow is restricted by sudden sharp corners in the system so it's not efficient, which means less power.

      Lewis Firth ok one, ricer doesnt only apply to civics (many european and other japanese cars and even many more american cars are rice as well) so get your head out of your ass you dummy. and two this upgrade looks nice and sounds loud, but does nothing performance wise for the car as the exhaust is still just as restrictive, making this a race inspired cosmetic enhancement. (or RICE)

    Also, you may already have this in your car, but in case you don't a hidden kill switch is a cheap and effective way to prevent your car from being stolen. You may not want to show where you put it in the video though.. Cheers!

      +DarkDragonWing Noooooo!! Why? pls it is a 90 hp FWD auto... It makes no sense to have a spoiler.

      MønsterEnegilover123 haha :D It will be a fun thing to do. I don't care much about it now. I will sell it after I make more videos of it. I was gonna turn in into EVO 4, but it's too rusty. I will sell it and save money to buy EVO 4 from Canada in 2021 when the EVO 4 becomes legal in the US. Beside I have a real project drift car E30 to work on. That one will take a long time, it needs a lot of money.

      I currently have a 2011 Ford Focus SES that I'm wanting to modify and then sell it in 20 21 to buy an EVO. LOL cuz that's when I'll have it paid off :-(

    This was the first car I ever fixed up. A 2001 Mirage DE Coupe. My exhaust sounded a shit load different though. It had this really bass-y tone and was loud as hell. I had 3" all the way back though and and after market headers though.

    I really enjoy your video. Good work! Figured things out by yourself is its own satisfaction. I was there once...with a 93 Civic hatch though. Gradually, I got a mechanical degree...a job...a Lexus SC430...wife...kids...house...a Lexus RX350 for her. This is America...opportunity is at your fingertips. Good luck on your path, my friend.

      Chris Servoss Try drag racing a car with an automatic gear box, I wouldn't be surprised.

    • @Cservoss25
      @Cservoss25 9 лет назад +4

      Drag racing is actually better in an automatic because you get more consistant, faster shifts, and if you have a supercharged or turbo charged vehicle boost levels also stay at a higher rate..But when it comes down to street racing and pure coolness-factor there is no comparison. Stick/manual cars are better and far more fun to drive than an auto anyday of the week.

    Good video! Make sure u have no leaks- it affects performance and they will get bigger. Some hi- temp paint needed lol and steeltoed work boots!! Wrk boots are actually pretty comfortable, get urself some lol Also there is muffler cement u can use when joining parts( when not welding) it really stops leaks. Cheers!
