Wow 🤩 Tashi Delek ! What a young talented and well spoken gentleman . His parents must be so proud. Wish you all the best in future. So happy to see young and hardworking boy . 🌎✌️
His role is that inspiring cos he has his family background. Real inspiration is from those who started from zero. But still he continues his family’s career 👍
if you think there is no corruption in Tibetan exile govt and bureaucracy then this is perfect example of how the family got the acquisition of this then Govt owned Hotel Tibet. How tender was passed and how the quotations were leaked before the transaction on bureaucracy level of how close you are to the people at Dharamsala., They then later successfully acquired the residential building which was then exile tib Govt owned carpet factories waviers residential through power broker of bureacracy mafia.
Same thing happened to lot of Tibetan government businesses all over India and Nepal. The very staffs that reported losses to the CTA end up buying the businesses. Respect to all CTA workers who were honest, but some are as crooked as they come.
they also managed to acquire the residential building in bartering horse with donkey. They bartered the residentail building which has greater value to someother land which has no private access to road but has shared road access to another tibetan carpet tycoon property. All Setting bhai.
I think his grand father was a shrewd businessman and might have kick backed the exile government officials but we can not blame this young Tibetan entrepreneur in Nepal. I am really surprised how humble this young person is.
Wow, Tenphel la, this was such an inspiring interview! Your insights and confidence really shine through, and it’s amazing to see how passionately you share your journey. Keep up the incredible work! Looking forward to seeing more of your story and impact. Proud of you!
Correct me if I am wrong. Wasn’t the land on which this hotel is built used to be Tibetan Govt carpet factory? After the Tibetan government determined it was losing money and decided to sell, the Tibetan staffs that worked in the factory bought it in an auction that was private to staffs only (outside bidders weren’t allowed); meaning they got the property for a big discount and prevented Tibetan government from selling it at a fair price. Maybe I am wrong but that’s what I heard. P.S. Young man here is very genuine and inspirational. Wish him lots of success.
Sad part is if Sandhong Ringpoche didn't sell it for 5crore then how how much we exile government make revenue from it. Why Sangdhong Rinpoche sold it for only 5crore😢😢😢😢😢? Now they don't sell it it 100 crore😮😮😮
It wasnt worthy of 100 crore back then .. owner had to destroyed and rebuilt everything… a lot of jobs open to Tibetan youth there… it’s inspiring story .. stop digging past
@@TenzinL865sorry to say but its not job opportunity 90% is nepali working in this hotel. Just to say this guy said mostly are himalayan working in this hotel. I used to work in this hotel as service but had a horrible experience. Such a horrible experience. There is HR man who is very closed to the owner and she listen to whatever he says. The staff in service are all nepali and if one tibetan join for work the manager says u r tibetan thats y u got job and u will see how we will kick out tibetan. I dont know why i was asked to leave the job by the owner lady and back side that HR is smirking. For the surprise the tibetan owner never inquiry what exactly happened. Thats really weird. I work in india 5 star hotel and had a very good experience but in this so called tibetan hotel i would never ever look back. I heard rumours from among the service staff that the owner lady and the HR is having affair thats y she always believed what he says.
Although past mistakes from all ends may have occurred, let’s rejoice in the fact that atleast a Tibetan refugee family was able to develop it into a beautiful sustainable business. It’s empowering for Tibetans all over. It’s al within one big Tibetan family.
Kalon Tripa Samdong Rinpoche sold Hotel Tibet to them. When it’s not making any profit. But now it’s running very good and making good business. So whose mistake now?
It’s govt staff mistake who worked in hotel Tibet during that time. Usually our govt staff never work on time instead they just time pass cause it is not their own business. And more than that they do corruption. They would pull our govt sponsors to their own personal business or for their kids. So it was our govt staff fault.
Our govt workers they just time pass and don’t work properly. They only want salary on time and more than that they do corruption. That’s why they went through loss. Do not doubt on the owners which is currently running by a private family. They’re dignified people not like our corrupted govt workers.
I just wanna make it clear to those Tibetans living outside Nepal that this video only portrays 2% of Tibetan surviving in Nepal. My survey proves that such businesses ( n people running it) are the reason our voices of identity crisis are hushed leaving our youngsters still alienated from one’s own identity. I have been questioning the central Tibetan administration representatives in Nepal (former n present) when are they gonna openly speak up on our situation? And where is SFT now?
CTA in nepal is busy going to workshop and training which are held in lavish hotel and abroad like Thailand. They are using the fund in that way. They have been taking sponsors for their personal business. They are not faithful to their work. Corrupted.
I just love this guy politeness and humble nature. I will check next time when I travel to Nepal
Such a simplicity lies his complexity !! So happy to see u Tenphe la after such long time !! I wish many many good things pass your way !!!
Wow, what an inspiring young gentleman! He's a shining role model for youngsters everywhere, and a proud representation of our Tibetan community.
