Unique was waaaay out of line here which I feel like a lot of people are overlooking. Ryder didn’t mean dude like that. Yes he should’ve been more respectful but Unique should have too. (Plus I think what they were doing with Ryder was finally showing a character that isn’t as used/exposed to these differences) I feel like with the way Wade approached the situation he was just acting however he wanted because he was Unique at the time. But Unique should’ve apologized to Ryder the way he did to her.
Maybe not the first time, but he definitely meant it like that the second time with "No, you're a dude." I don't even hate Ryder, but I feel like a lot of people overlook his occasional douchebag tendencies.

What he said was wrong but I honestly think he wouldn’t have ever said it if unique hadn’t attacked him over something that wasn’t her business. He’s walking in the hallway and she comes up calls him big headed and square headed for something he already knew he shouldn’t have done. Ryder is defendable and so is Unique but a lot of people act like Unique was completely justified when she wasn’t
