As a heavy metal drummer in my 50's who musically grew up in the 70's, I'm impressed how tight the drums are in this song, keeping it all together in a perfect vibe, not too fast, not too slow, not too loud, not too soft...just perfect!

The original Morrison Hotel in Los Angeles burned down today (12/26/24). The great cover photo of the Doors album of the same name was taken there. The local TV announcer even said about it tonight "the future's uncertain and the end is always near" about the plans to make the building low-income housing, which probably won't happen now. Sad.
Grandma saw them live in 1968 in LA. She had no idea who they were but she bought an album off of the show and still has it. Vinyl still sounds amazing on her old record player.
