Some people have the stigma that hauling a wagon or grocery cart wheel looks lame.
Hey you do you. It's just more practical to have a cart like that when you don't have a car.

I may low key already be training myself to grocery shop in NYC when I visit because even though I live in So Cal I don't have a car so if I'm on foot I take my backpack with me to the grocery store and that allows me to carry everything I need.

You are so nice! ❤️ Thank you. I'm actually a graphic designer, but I've only started figuring out film editing. Yeah, I think my wagon is one of the best investments I made in the last year. 😂

I really enjoy your videos and I think your channel is brilliant. Such a great concept. Your personality shines through so vividly in your videos which really helps captivate attention. I cannot wait for the rest of the videos explaining the neighborhoods in Manhattan. I was wondering if you would consider doing the same for the other boroughs, or at least Brookyln?

Hi there! Thank you so much for such a nice comment. That's really kind of you to say. Yes, I do plan to expand to the other boroughs. Research just takes a bit of time. 😬 But slowly getting there.

It would be hard to live in NY. When I go to grocery shop I fill the cart to the brim, roll it to my car and then dont come again for 2 weeks.

Yeah, that's something I do miss prior to moving. It took a bit of adjustment but I got used to it. Grocery shopping and laundry are the two big sacrifices a lot of people make 😅

Yeah but when the grocery store is an easy slight detour on your walk from transit to your home (or maybe even on the way) it is easy to do the micro shopping she was referring to.
imo much better than having to get in your 2,000 pound car, contributing to traffic on the road just to make a trip where you buy items as essential as food, and spend 40 minutes there getting everything.

@@AutumnBosco Damn I would hate to shop like that in the city. Where I live in the suburbs it's only a 3 minute drive to the grocery store. I buy a weeks worth of groceries for like $40 (used to be $25 before covid) then a 3 minute drive home and I never have to carry the bags. The whole routine takes about 20 minutes total and only once per week. Who would want to carry all those bags down the street on on the bus? I guess some people could bring their own cart but still seems inconvenient.

Agree...I have to many supermarkets around me. I just drive 3 minutes to any of them. But I'm sure NY style residents move more so are probably heathier

Whole foods sells a cart. I go down the aisles shopping into the cart then empty it onto the conveyer belt at the cashier. After the cashier scans the items, I put them back into the cart. No bags are needed and since I shopped into the cart I cant over buy. No Whole Foods employee has stopped me yet.
