The statue of the Goddess of Mercy ( not the Lady Buddha ) at Linh Ung pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula is not the biggest/highest statue in Vietnam . There is actually another one higher ( 71 m ) and more beautiful at Linh An pagoda in Dalat However the scenery around the Linh Ung pagoda in Danang is way more gorgeous than the one in Dalat . A third statue of that Buddhist deity ( over 100 m high ) will be finishing soon at Minh Duc pagoda in Quang Ngai province . FYI the Goddess of Mercy ( Quan Am in Vietnamese or Kuan Yin in Chinese ) is the equivalent of the Virgin Mary in Catholicism . However she was not the mother of Buddha like Saint Mary the Jesus Christ's mother .
Well done, fantastic footage and backing music. Loaded with info, Its no longer raw Diamond though, far from It I was there in 12, 15 and 23 its like a totally different place now especially along Nguyen Giap
It is but it depends on you how you can handle the heat! If you go off season, it gets cheaper. I visited Hanoi in rainy, hot season and still loved it
HI, Is it hard to get a grab going back to the city center from lady buddha? thanks for the video its very helpful, going on a solo trip this March to da nang :)
Hey! It wasn’t difficult for me to get the grab scooter 🛵, just some waiting time. There are also always grab drivers in front of the sights but I would always only book via the app and if they are indeed grab drivers, one of them would get the booking anyway. Enjoy your solo trip - you will have so much fun!
@@rita.loves.travel oh its good to know :) thank you so much, that was my only hesitation of going to those spots since Im travelling alone I want to be prepared especially of the transportation options ..thank u so much :)
!!Amazing video!! I´m planning to go to Da Nang for 2 or 3 months in february, do you consider a feasible place for a retired person, thank you in advance.
Thank you! I think so! It’s all about your mindset, age is just a number ☺️. Da Nang is a super relaxed place on the beach if that’s what you’re after or has an easy city life as well. Not as busy as Saigon 🤗
No. Its loud due to all the bikes. No one walks. No pollution standards, carbon monoxide due to all the bikes. You could live in the international area but that's like living in a fishbowl. Most young travellers look at the world aa children and that's ok, everyone is young at one point. Lastly would you be planning to learn the Vietnamese language? The Vietnamese are very kind, but you'll just be a better version of a retirement community in Florida.
I’ve commuted by using grab. It’s super affordable and easy - whether you want to book a scooter or car. I haven’t used public transport, so can’t help in this point
The scenery at Lady Buddha is amazing! Haven't been there yet-might give it a go when I revisit Vietnam. Thanks for sharing!
It really is amazing! 🤩
Thanks 🙏🏽 I’ll be there this weekend.
Enjoy!!
ดานังสวยงามมากๆ❤🎉

chị ấy nói rất rõ là "một trong" những tượng cao nhất.
"One of the tallest buddha statues in vietnam".
Really enjoyed Da Nang! Could see myself staying there for 6 months easily.

Hiện tại thời tiết đang rất nóng. Nhiệt độ từ 38°c_40°c.🥵🥵 Vào tháng 7 thời tiết đỡ nóng hơn 1 chút

@@rita.loves.travel One of my favourite hobbies, is swiming in the ocean, I do that almost every day except in winter time
Thank you very much indeed.
@@rafaelnozal3682tin tốt: ở Đà nẵng, bạn có thể bơi ở biển vào mùa đông vì nước không quá lạnh ( chỉ 16-18 độ C ).
