Stellar presentation by both Atillah and Destra and great seeing and hearing Destra's range of knowledge. It takes us into the depth of who she is beyond the public performance which gives only what is staged. Will have my class look at it next week.

Carnival is Freedom! You couldn’t have said it better Destra. The way you described how it makes you feel - the excitement and the freedom, is exactly the way I have always felt about Carnival since I was a child. It’s an embodiment of everything that is our Trini people, and all aspects of it - the music, the pan, the parties, the wining in the middle of the street and the costumes (skimpy or not) all play a part in the euphoria that is our Carnival. Those emotions come through in your Carnival music and that’s what I believe attracts so many who feel the same way. You are a great ambassador of T&T. Love you Destra.

“With the ears!” 😂😂😂 Destra, thank you for this and all of the beautiful nuggets of what Carnival was. My fave part of the parade was also up Fred Street, coming across Park and culminating with the bottle neck on Charlotte St and the POSGH. Well done, Tillahji

The host continues to talk about women being less than men.
This is the second show I have seen so far.
Do you have a problem with men ?
Do women have a responsibility as well for portrayal.
