Commenting, liked, and subscribed, particularly because I love the format. My ADHD ass has a hard time focusing on just listening to music, so having the tabs and notation on screen is great for me.
This is awesome! The only thing I could possibly point out is that the main riff (444 000 333...) sounds more like it's played with an octave and not single notes. Good stuff man
Yeahhh! Thanks dude! Can't wait to hear the full album, as well as how this song will change when completed. Hoping they restock the box, I really wanted to buy it but was too late haha
5th fret on the second string is notated as a D, which checks out with probably being in standard tuning. Edit: at 0:28, he's playing "lined up" octaves and we can see that the open first string is notated as D. It looks like it's in Drop D
@RicMonteiro Somehow, Drop D feels out of character for Opeth. It's like meeting Dracula and seeing him drinking a beer. Not a bad choice necessarily, but definitely not what you'd expect. Opeth always has the *vibe* of standard tuning or maybe and open tuning sort of thing.
@@Langtw Yeah, It's something that we don't think of, but when it's done, it's something we didn't know we needed! Just to think of blackwater park, what a song!

sick ass dude, Opeth riffs are quite easy to play but the musicality is so fucking good

Any special tuning?

@@Langtwthey have a lot of Drop D songs - they make it sound super heavy too.
Did you make a tab for what was going on in the rhythm of the solo, I'm not good enough to play fredriks parts lol
I will try and tab it out!
@@RicMonteiro thanks man!
skibidi rizz
