Hmm... I went to a Rise Against concert, several band members of the opening bands and I think Rise Against themselves were wearing Cold War Kids shirts.. I didnt know they were a band until now! And they're pretty good!

when I first heard this, I was so immersed in the bass that i didn't notice the guitars. They rock!
They sing about very strong topics. See also: "Cold War Kids- Golden Gate Jumper" I've heard them compared to the Killers, which I defended them against. But they do kind of have the same harmonizing melodies and group style. Just a bit stronger of ideals...

Am I the only one who rocks out in the exact same way? I mean identically. He wags his hand the way I do when he jams out on that baseline. This song speaks to me on a fundamentally physical level. Good music makes you dance.

people get way too worked up about how bands go to big record companies or that they've changed their sound. If you just stop focusing on how the music is produced and just listen to it, you might actually find out you enjoy it. If you keep an open mind towards new or different music than you're used to, you'll probably find a lot more good songs to listen to.

LOL i seen these guys at the airport waiting in line w/everyone else and i heard one of em say " we're the cold war kids" i thought who? then one day awhile ago i watched an episode of entourage lo and behold, the guys who were holding up the line with their bulky instruments, were well the cold war kids lol
