Hello, I have a Craftsman zero turn riding mower (ZT 7500) that I'm having a problem with. The deck height is set to the highest level but its still cutting the grass too low. Is there a way that the deck can be lifter higher?
So, I have the same mower. Well, sorta all the same. My tank is in rear battery front. V twin 19.5 Briggs. Anyway after long due time I replaced the drag link for wheel turn. The rod that goes on left front behind tire. Has ball that moves inside rod. Which is a crap make and my ball popped out. After that decided to turn that nut up that you replaced. Snapped threaded rod up to about 3 thread left. So now I got to buy what you replaced. Oh and getting the old nut off in that space with two wrenches is a joke. That and remember it is reverse thread fine threaded. Brought used mower and can't fig out what some one did. Drives me crazy. Original deck but has only high and low height on the ajust lever where it click and locks on side of mower. Where teeth are to lock there is only 2 teeth top and bottom. You look behind it and double plated and behind has the 5 or so teeth. My high is about cut 2 and very low. Low, lol it eats dirt. So on high the deck goes down into short grass. Another words high is about 1 inch tops off ground. I don't know what is going on. Now the part you replaced, ajusting those nuts up makes deck higher correct? My nuts was about mid on threads up. What about the left and right front bars on deck. I see they have 2 nuts to ajust. What does that do?
I have the same issue, with high and low hole positions being the only option for deck height. It's bizarre. What am I missing about this design? Did you ever figure it out?
As usual I can't find a video that will address my problem so I'll have to take mine to a shop and pay through the nose and have it repaired mine is a 1998 Sears LT1000 I ran over and obstacle I damaged something now the lever that lowers and raises the deck stays up and it won't go down
Right lift arm 532151140 or Left lift arm 532151141. I cannot guarantee that they are the same for all Craftsman tractors. Find the model number of your tractor and search for a parts diagram to be sure.
Thank you. The neighbors will be happy i found this video. Mower has been out for a year😢
@@ThewTheKooky happy to help!

Are the lock nuts re-usable once they've been removed from the lift arms?
I would re-use them if needed.
Thanks for the video. Will be replacing mine when parts come in. Opted to do both sides even though one side broke
Glad I could help
There's A LOT of stress on the front adjustment rods. I think it's amazing how they can hold up as long as they do.
It is impressive. Thanks for watching.
Is there a left n right link bar I take it it can work for the left or right the replacement part
The part numbers are in my description. They are not interchangeable. Thanks for watching.
Can u put the bar in a different hole to help lift the deck higher?
There is only one hole.
do yiu have to pull the deck to replace that part
no i didnt have to

You can find them on ebay or amazon. Right lift arm 532151140 or Left lift arm 532151141. Thanks for watching.
What is the name of the rods that connect the front of deck to the frame. One on each side?
I have heard them called the "front drag links"
Thank you

That was tough on the ears.
