- Lockdown is over, the boy is back in town: after two years of global/domestic chaos, Ivo blasts through his most urgent concerns of the early 2020s, plus a few from the late 1990s, in a critically acclaimed show ("mastering his craft with motormouthed finesse...if self-deprecation were a sport, Graham would have a gold medal round his neck": The Times), beautifully filmed in London at the end of his "My Future, My Clutter" UK tour, with a freshly ironed shirt, a handful of schoolboy stories and a really quite outlandish amount of lamps on the stage.
It's all here, if by "all" you mean go karting regulations, Radio One text-ins, Eagles documentaries, and KFC's social media presence. Or, indeed, nuclear fallout, Peppa Pig World, Daniel Craig announcing the weekend, and the politics of your favourite malt loaf. How about wordles in nightclubs, risottos on Zoom, masks on stag dos, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s red card against Newcastle in 1998? Ivo is unpacking the whole feelings box of his life for you here, and he's hopeful and confident that you'll enjoy it. Or, to put it more succinctly: ladies and gentlemen, the special.

How is he not so much bigger than he is?! He's so good!
It's all the running
Because his humor doesn't relate to Americans. I say this as an American who either not getting the references or just plain not understanding his accent.
Can you be bigger than you are?
Because he's literally copying exact mannerisms and delivers as jimmy carr
@@shayed_6668nothing like him tho
I appreciate Ivo, his delivery, cadence, functionally stressed and neurotic demeanor. He reminds me of a precocious middle school boy who was privileged and bright but struggled with socializing despite being a touch full of himself. A unique blend of flavors in the comedy landscape. I wish him the best.
I was only familiar with Ivo from panel show appearances. This show was great. I absolutely loved the Wordle joke at the start.
I couldn't wait for this video to become live! Love Ivo Graham!
This is excellent
Brilliant stuff. Hope I see a lot more of Ivo in a lot more places.
Good stuff, love it... old chap!
Ivo! What a treat!
Thoroughly enjoyed this!
Superb stuff 👏
good stuff
He is not made of stone... he's made of me!
18:00 All of the Aga none of the Agro 🤣
Good morning Ivo❤
Loved Ivo on Taskmaster. Before watching, I’ve good feelings about his special
😂 Well done
Walsh Forges
Marvin Land
what's aga and agro pls? 18:35
Aga - Big range oven (heats ya house) A sign of wealth
Aggro - someone giving you trouble
He reminds me a lot of Jack Whitehall.
I can't decide if it would have been better or worse if, instead of the American rock band the Eagles, it had been the American football team the Eagles. The documentary would have been similarly excruciating to watch while sober either way.
What's his appeal?
I stopped watching when he called a Tow Path a cycle path.
He is great but for a niche market. Would Americans get it?
This one does. There’s more to American comedy than Kevin Hart and Amy Schumer.
@@bondfool Please suggest a few to watch. I thought the Canadians have a sense of humour.
@@creativesource3514 chris fleming is similarly skilled at funny & elaborate phrasing
@@creativesource3514 Maria Bamford, Tig Notaro, Paul F. Tompkins…
@@bondfool thanks. I will check them out.
Do British people understand the difference between comedy and cadence?
do you
Ivo's comedy is subtle. It mostly plays on embedded features of English society and doesn't translate well to English speakers who don't also have a strong understanding of English cultural mores.
In short: If you didn't like it, it wasn't for you. Move on. (This is true of most stand-up comedy.)
Do you tube commentators know the difference between can comment and should comment?
