You know, Emmet turning into Rex made me think of Asriel turning into Flowey, they both used to be sweet until said tragedy happened, and they both used time travel except the only difference is that Flowey first used his powers for good until he got bored while Rex used it for revenge (tbh I can't blame Rex for doing that, his friends had it coming to them)

As a person who's only seen the first lego movie (and doesn't even remember it that much), i don't understand the storyline.
But i like how emmet's little tuft of hair at the top waves as he moves its really smooth

Now this is an amazing animation meme. Not just the smoothness from the head movement, but the small details of the facial expression is such a nice touch. And I like it how the words get sloppy and jumbled close together by the near end of the meme.

Emmet is one of my fav characters, sadly ever since he found out about wyldstyle and about "the piece" everything turned around for him and just made his life a little- no, a *LOT* more worse. and plus the apocolypse in the sequel.

Honestly, i dont blame Rex, if i had to go through all that i would've tried to change my past self too.
Emmet has gone through a lot, and he isn't even an adult yet! He has the job of a construction worker and he found a cool gem, which was a INSANELY POWERED ITEM which had him be chased by the cops and so much more; he had sacrificed himself for everyone else to escape, even when he was doubted.. then aliens invade and COMPLETELY turns the world to a wasteland.

Emmet is a little more mature now, but he's still trying to make life happy. Then, he loses his friends to kidnappers, then he has to follow some random stranger just to find the ones he cares about. (that's all I watched, sorry)
know this was a year ago, but Emmet is 27 in the sequel and 22 in the original movie
