3:30 lol you can see the cyclone efficiency deteriorate in the bin and the dust and go into the shroud when you block the inlet with your hand 😂

Great video... may I ask what the purpose is of the pipe which goes up the side of the cyclone dust collection cylinder. It has a seal that covers a hole on the cylinder when attached.(the seal is kind of an egg shape)
The reason I ask is mine is a little warped and I'm wondering if that would contribute to a lack of performance.
With that said it works alot better after following the steps in your video 😊

That's the main suction duct (on the chassis), and where the dirt enters. The rubber seal needs to seat nicely against the cyclone, but should pull itself flush when it's turned on. Might have to manhandle it flat then fit the cyclone so it re-adjusts itself!

Thanks! It's the bigger of the 3 different torx sizes they use (t10 or 15 iirc)

Ordered some Torx screwdrivers, it was a T10 thank Sam. Disappointed to find that despite this vacuum originally being my sisters who along with my niece both have very long hair, there was only 1 hair behind 1 drive 😂
