It's hard to believe you guys haven't thought of the fact that hard knocks starts filming next week. Wouldn't you want your contract signing to be part of the show? It's all about entertainment
Dude literally major reporter has mentioned this and it’s fucking wild. 2 top 10 picks that aren’t signed the year hard knocks is in town. It’s literally common sense at this point that they’re waiting for Hard Knocks.

HBO wants both Williams and Rome to sign their contracts on a Hard Knocks episode. Don't worry both contracts will get done before training camp.
Bingo. How nearly every reporter is thinking this is something far fetched or not even mentioning it is wild. Hard Knocks did the same thing with Baker in ‘18. Now they’re filming a team with 2 top 10 picks and I’m sure they’re taking full advantage of that. On top of that do we even know if either one of them are back in Chicago yet? Gotta remember the rookies don’t really have an off-season other than the past few weeks so I’m sure they’re both taking at least a little down time and chillen with family.
The Hard Knocks cameras have been there for almost a month. That's not the reason
@@jdeck1111 under the center podcast the director of the show says the whole crew as well as all the equipment wouldn’t be here until this coming Sunday.
@@jdeck1111 and I’m not saying they have zero cameras out here right now but very possible they’re waiting for the full crew with all the equipment to show up. It’s not like the Bears just stopped negotiating for HBO. Contracts are more than likely good to go and just need signed.

They are waiting until training camp to get it on hard knocks, putting them in front of the cameras to sign the contract.
Keep in mind, about 150 of the 7000 cases each year that apply are actually granted certio by the SC. 90+% of cases end at the appeals court.

All rookie contracts are the same for all the rookie contracts that the NFL has set as far as how much each contract is worth on where you were drafted.

Everyone it’s all about Caleb’s dad, he’s been a problem since day 1, his dad was the 1 that was trying to get a % of the team that drafted him before Caleb played a snap, think about when Caleb is at the end of his rookie contract, his dad will want the most money ever given to a QB guaranteed, he’s nothing but a problem, he’s currently trying to get more money than what the NFL has in place for a 1st round pick & the NFL won’t make an exception for him, his dad thinks he’s the best negotiator even better than a agent……
Rome is going to do what Caleb is doing, Rome will be a follower & I bet Caleb’s dad will also tell Rome what to do & follow what Caleb does…
All the red flags of Caleb starting to pop up already, can’t even sign his contract. Probably because he’s too busy vacationing for a month while every other rookie is training and working out.
So what’s the excuse behind why Rome isn’t signed then? You guys can say all the same stupid BS you did about him before the draft but this is 100% something they’re doing for the Hard Knocks.
The only thing you should be worried about is Caleb and the 2024 Bears destroying the NFL, and perhaps your team.

I would say that I was drafted by the Bears and I don't want to play for them. So I'm not going to sign a contract with them.
