Ceej k I will pray for you and would like to encourage you to meditate on the word of God and when you are tempted remember Psalm 101: 3. I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. And Ephesians 4: 29. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Ephesians 6: 23. Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 24. Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
Prayed for you. I feel the same way too. The last month or so it's been rough. I've been a Christian for many years, this battles been the hardest yet. Believe! Be strong! God can't lie!
Nancy Hale Its seems like I been in this situation since I been saved, but makes me always question my salvation because I think I'm in habitual sin and from what I have heard that means I may not be saved. I'm praying for you to!
I actually had tears in my eyes as I read this. Thank you Pastor John. You are a fellow worker for our joy! I live probably less than 80 miles from you in Eau Claire, WI and yet may never meet you in person on earth. But I look forward to meeting you and worshiping Jesus together in heaven!
Another expositional, exegetic study teaching me the sheer importance of the value of daily Bible study time, both with Pastor John and my immediate pastor. I realize that it is important to study the areas of which my own physically present pastor teaches during Bible study, yet also seeing the reality of just how deep he has or has not gone and in this cry out to God to bless and keep him and fill him with 100 percent wisdom, understanding, deeper, firmer spiritual discernment and sacrificial study time and communion with Christ to pull up these nuggets John always hungrily and thirst-lovingly finds and then offers us all. And yet, I see that my Pastor has not failed in carrying out his duty to study he word and offer up the exegetic teachings of the gospel to me with the encouragement to take those notes and use them to study on my own that by his overall guideline he was lovingly offering by wisdom, understanding and spiritual discernment in love by faith and obedience the very Scriptural, Messianic context toward Israel and we gentiles in order that I may continue his "cupidic" aiming of counsel, steering me or positioning me to dive and dig deeper into the teaching he has presented to us all as a congregation. This I thank you Pastor John. As I thank also MacArthur, Evans and the Front Porch men, Washer and so many others for your holy commitment to be a child of royalty teaching and preaching and witnessing and feeding us - we blind and dumb sheep always going astray. In lo💖e I say, *_Thank You❣_*
I feel as though the comment he made about the verse in Hebrews regarding holiness it’s in reference to seeing God in every day moments here on earth as opposed to one day seeing him in heaven. Does that make sense? Because earthly holiness does not secure our salvation, correct?
Samuel Jurgensen trust in God and acknowledge Him in everything you do understand that being born from Him again is a gift from God and that you can not do anything on your own obey Him and remain in Him he has something prepared for you better than this world and KNOW that it is worth the fight above all ask Him to but true love for Him in your heart so you can love Him with all your heart soul and mind and he will help you :) but wait for Him never loose Hope and remain in Him :)
The answer is in the Word of God. Get on your knees, open up your Bible and ask God to take the promises written and bring them alive for you. Weeping may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning. This is coming from someone who struggles with self-pity and depression. But God has lifted me up so many times, He has become more and more precious each time. Psalms is a good place to start. Isaiah (chapters 40-60) is great too. Jeremiah (Chapters 29-32) If you look all over you will find encouraging treasures. You're digging through gold to find diamonds. May the Lord bless You! He will come to you if you seek Him and don't give up.
What on earth is a comment like “so God can be 100% for us”? God is for us. He died for us while we were yet sinners how much more doesn’t he love us and Billy do for us now that we’ve been reconciled? What is this double talk you’re doing? And it’s not faith that causes obedience the double believes in the shutters. The text says and Jesus said if you love me you will obey me therefore it’s a love that causes obedience
You see Jesus the SON had faith in the FATHER and he wasn't allowed to die. He rose again on the 3rd day! King Nebuchadnezzar seen how saving faith worked when he seen the 4th man in the furnace. Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is to say, “My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?” John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. Daniel 3:24-26 24 Astonished, King Nebuchadnezzar stood up in terror, and asked his advisors, “Didn’t we throw three men into the fire, bound firmly with ropes?” In reply they told the king, “Yes, your majesty.” 25 “Look!” he told them,[a] “I see four men walking untied and unharmed in the middle of the fire, and the appearance of the fourth resembles a divine being.”[b] 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar approached the opening of the blazing fire furnace. He shouted out, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out and come here!” So Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the fire. Questions to ask yourself who was Nebuchadnezzar GOD? The same one who sacrificed Jesus Christ? Praise the Lord. It has taken so long to see the value behind these texts, but I now find them to be true and real.

Hi, can someone please tell me the name of the tool that John Piper uses on these videos.
I would really appreciate some feedback.
Thanks
