I have a question im working on a graco text spray mark v and seems there is excessive leaking coming from the bottom coming out of the foot valve but the packings aren’t torn and all of rings are intact and the piston rod is in good shape. Any idea why that is ? Could the packings just be worn or any ideas ?

if i torqued the piston packings while the piston was inside the sleeve, did i do it wrong? 27-30 ft lbs
