Bedros I was on my way home from work this morning and you podcast came up. I was about to skip your video but your advice is stuff I didn’t get while growing up. I was once one of those dudes that blamed my parents because of my failures from the past. I just want to thank you for what you do. Don’t stop.

Mate, you came into my life at the perfect time. Im 35 and I've just become a dad, ive started a new business and am striving to do the inner work to be a better role model and business person.
I ran with the wrong crowds since I was a child much like yourself, then I wasted my 20s partying and studying the streets and nightlife whilst djing and running venues and events, i was doing well in that industry but it was killing me. My health got away from me because of this life style. Stacking vices on vices and making bad decisions. Anyway I'm feeling better then ever and I've always known I'm Built for more and you give me the extra nudge I need with you advice and philosophies. When ever I feel like I'm not on the path, I just listen to you. Your tone and delivery is what I need to get back into gear and on the road to peace and generational stability.
Thank you Bedrous. Thank you for being an amazing role model for all of us that want to be all round better people and thank you for providing your blueprint on how to achieve the goals.
You aren't just making my life better you are making my family's life better too.

Love this show and all the content!! I don’t have kiddos myself, but I have a lot of awesome kids around me. Love being aunt to my nieces and nephews, & to my friends kids! One of those kiddos, now 16 years old took me aside and said “thanks for always treating me as my own person and not just a little kid. I knew what you expected of me. That made me know where I was at with you, I never had to guess or doubt. You saw me. I knew I could always come to you too, cause you would have my back. I always looked forward to you coming around, cause I knew it would be a great time”. Fuck, I will never forget that talk with this young man. Don’t necessarily have to be “mom or dad”, these kiddos are watching all adult role models. Be a great one, you might be their only one! ❤

I go back and rewatch your videos when I have a set back and the 1.0 me gets out of the trunk. I’ve been in therapy for 4 years. Made a lot of progress but still much work to do. I’ve been learning a lot about stoicism the last couple months and it’s been a useful tool as far as setting up some foundation/structure and some virtues to abide by. Highly recommend if anyone is struggling with organizing their life.

I am a single mother raising 2 teenage boys their father passed when they were both below the age of 5. I try to keep my feminity but its hard when you need to raise men. I see myself getting tougher, more aggressive, almost boastful; losing that sense of softness. Hoping to grasp my womanhood when they need me less.

God wants me to start a mentorship program at our church for the 7th and 8th grade boys. It'll be young men in their mid 20s-mid 30s being the mentors. If you want to fix "the country" then you need to start with your community. And that starts by teaching boys how to become good husbands and fathers. The other issues will resolve once you help lead boys into good men.

I love your podcast but I think you need to realize that just because you aren’t capable of certain things doesn’t mean other men also are not capable. Being nurturing is apart of social conditioning, which men are not held to. However, I’ve met a lot of men who are better nurturers than I am as a woman. I’m naturally way more analytical and better at problem solving. My partner however, is incredibly nurturing. He’s a gym bro, test levels are normal, all that bullshit. But that man knows how to take care of someone who is hurting, physically and emotionally. I’m often jealous of his ability to do so. He’s also in the military, manly as hell, and takes care of business. It’s not a woman or man thing. It’s a skill that develops. Some people are naturally inclined to it. Some are not and have to work at it. All I’m saying is that this narrow view/black and white thinking really doesn’t serve anyone and just further puts people in boxes that aren’t helpful.
