I always liked how Accuphase's digital meters operated vs. their analog ones. It is far more responsive and peaks stay lit for a bit longer as the rest of the meter keeps moving... it makes it much easier to keep your average listening level between albums more consistent.
I love your excitement - this thing looks absolutely bad ass 😊
Beautiful timeless design. Love it!
Yes! My dream amp! Can't wait for your impressions ❤
What dreams are made of!
Always really enjoy your unboxing videos. You go through a fair amount of useful information. Keep it up 😎
Looks impressive ❤
Your enthusiasm for components. Usually puts me in a good mood. Take care adrian
Thanks !
Your incidental comments, say, about damping measurements, are so educational, and add to the enjoyment of Hifi listening.
Thanks!
Thanks Adrian love your videos!
Thanks !
Love your videos and unboxing. Keep up the good work my friend.
Thank you
Hi Adrian, thanks for another great video. Please consider to purchase and test it with the reference Accuphase C-3900 pre-amplifier. That would be a dream combo 😍! Greetings from The Netherlands.
We have the C2700 (or is that the C2400… can’t remember lol). We will try that first
That front lid opening 😭🤤
Oh good, another one of my favorite videos; The unboxing!
Just for you Paul
@@adrianlow2114 Hahah! Thanks, buddy! :)
Reminds me of Audio Research with the handles on it. Amp looks like it can perform given the high power specs 👌🏾
I agree on the meters - analog would be preferred over the digital ones. I also found it interesting that they gave specs in bridged mode down to 2 ohms. Does the manual recommend that you use bridged mode with speakers of 8 ohms impedance or more? That's pretty standard on all power amps I've seen. Instead of running a pair in bridged mode, though, one should consider just getting the A-300 monoblocks. Now THAT's an unboxing video I'd like to see! Keep coming with the Accuphase stuff. I love that brand. :)
I find the meters on the P 7500 far more satisfying. Pity they didn't just use them across the board. I wish these meters were on the A 300
Manual doesn’t indicate specs over 8 ohms but I don’t see why it can’t do it
STUNNING ! I wonder how they stack up against Luxman's....
Bello/Magnifico.🧨🧨🧨🧨🧨🧨🥵
Grazie
hope you have nice neighbors. im not nice when its about noise.
Accuphase has always be the japanese version of McIntosh in Japan. Similar classic look to over the years back to the a30, a60 . Not much changes visually. I would say over the years mcintosh has made more visual changes to their line while still keeping their iconic look.
I wish it were an industry standard to have the binding post go "L... negative-positive---positive-negative... R" the same with speakers. It makes routing cables like the Silversmith nice and tidy, for us anal-retentive people.
Hi Adrian, would it be possible to discuss the integration (of Accuphase in general) into a existing home theatre setup in your review? Would be easy in case of Mc or Luxman because of the 12v Trigger but what about Accuphase? Kind regards from Germany!
Hi. With Accuphase Integrated amps, you have to use the Main In switch to bypass the preamp section. You have to do this manually. With McIntosh it’s easier as they have home theater bypass and can be triggered
@@adrianlow2114 Same for the current Generation of Accu Pre‘s?
ACCUPHASE A80 $26,575 USD
Thanks!
Is it bad that I watch these .. hoping to catch a reflection of Allison on the gear? =) haha..
.. * geez.. that wasn't subtle at all .. haha *
lol.
@@adrianlow2114 - I mean, I enjoy seeing your smile also ..but ... you know =) 😇😇😇
🥳🤓💯🔥💥🎉😴🛌💤
Very good unboxing and comments. But for power amplifier, in class A, 120.000 uf it's not enaugh.. My old Gryphon have now 700.000 uf... BR
Don’t rub your nose while holding a Stanley knife🙈 better to be sure than noseless 🥳
Lol
65 w x2 =130stereo… 260 when bridge? Very unsual!
Sad world. There’s the have and the have nots.
Don’t think of it that way. I have a nice rig but absolutely love and enjoy music (classical mostly) on a transistor radio. You/we do not need this level of gear to enjoy music.
Unfortunately true but such is life. No one promised us equal outcomes in this world. However if you are blessed to live in a country where there is opportunity to progress, then it’s up to you to make the best choices
And I still have to buy lottery tickets and still dreaming.
A power amp not that good, without dynamic, punch, details
Nice white gloves, I live in LA , I see guys like you every day with those ridiculous gloves on, there is mask involved many but not every time. Cringe bro.
Retailers have to purchase the equipment from the manufacturer/distributor to have in their demo room with their own money, and eventually they will want to sell the demo equipment. So the retailer wants keep the condition of the equipment in pristine condition, especially when talking about stuff that costs this much money, so they can at least recover what they paid for it. That is why he is wearing gloves. Most people emit oils and acid through their skin, which over time can damage a finish. Sometimes they only have one unit in the store and it is the demo unit, and a customer wants to buy it, so if the retailer keeps it in pristine condition then a customer is more willing to take one already removed from the box if kept in pristine condition. Same reason why people who handle valueable artwork or old rare books wear gloves.
Please take your meds.
These kinds of videos, by which I mean the "unboxing" stuff on RUclips (or elsewhere), are beginning to sit wrongly with me. They feel sort of immoral. Odd and unsettling. I get people like to show off their _stuff_ , but it's rubbing me the wrong way. This is not a criticism specific to Adrian and I continue to believe he's a decent vendor and all. I just keep wanting to ask myself _what are we really doing here?_
It other words, it saddens you that you can’t afford any of this stuff. Only thing odd is you.
Don't watch !😂!
@@Prometheus1979 "It other words, it saddens you that you can’t afford any of this stuff. " - it is true now in my retirement that I don't have the disposable income I used to have. I went through the audiophile stuff decades ago, buying this and that, flipping, etc. Now that I am older I'm just thinking that there is little to gain from _stuff_ .
@@202One "Don't watch" - ok, that's some advice. I still enjoy watching Adrian.
Evidently you have not watched my ten minute video unwrapping a pair of Reece's Peanut Butter Cups.
