Yeah the star wars update for BR was pretty dang disappointing compared to last years. This season has been pretty good in my opinion, but just like the last one, it feels the same throughout the whole season and gets boring in the first few weeks. Not to mention the bugs this season are through the roof.

I definitely agree with everything in this video, I fell like I play a new season or even new chapter for a week then it’s boring. I miss the old days were there was so much creativity and wonder with each new update

i used to play every day since chapter 1 season 3 even chapter 4 i like fortnite that much even thoe it was boring now every update makes it worse theyre better not making any more updates lol
im the same boat man. you can just tell Epic themselves don't care about the BR as much and it shows. i think people don't realize creators can get bored of their own game too & i think it shows they want us to move on with all these new modes.

4:43 dude i’ve been thinking about this a lot! part of me wondered why they didn’t just make a secondary “game” almost to host the extra modes, Festival, Lego, etc. But it’s because they KNOW no one will go to play that as long as the Battle Royale is in another place where all their friends are. I love playing the extra modes but i don’t like that they slow down BR and leave room for all these unnecessary bugs in the game :((

they dont have to put in as much effort to keep us playing the game compared to when it was newer. we keep complaining but still keep playing the game. they dont care because theyre still getting richer

It screams entitlement in my opinion, the game is quite literally in its last two weeks of the season... people are leaving? really you don't say it's almost like a season isn't going to keep everyone interested 100% of the time 24/7
Where's all the unique creative items? Chains of Hades, Wings of Icarus, Thunderbolt of Zeus, all amazing new items but we'll just act like those don't exist ok, not to mention most of the collab items are super cool and fun to use
Also I just can't believe you think the devs aren't putting in that much work anymore, just look at all the amazing items and things they've made over the years, just for them to get canned and thrown away the very next season, they're always making new stuff for the community to play around with, but all you guys know is how to bitch and complain, you're never thankful for anything
Also I know YOU may not like the new modes, but YOU are not the entire community, not everyone is going to be playing at the exact same time, people get on at different times of the day and play whatever mode they want, sometimes thats br, sometimes thats lego, festival, hell even just some shitty creative map, there's so much more to do in Fortnite now so why limit yourself to only playing BR? and if BR is truly the only thing you enjoy in this game and you think it's not fun anymore then try a different game, you said yourself you have 10,000 god damn hours on this game, maybe you're just burnt out?
I've been here with this game since the beginning, and it's always the same, it's always doom and gloom about how the game is dying even in Chapter 1, remember how wild Epic Games went with all the stuff they added in Season X and how the community treated it like it was the worst season ever? They don't want to overload BR with new content, and they don't want to keep it stale either, and I think they've found a decent balance in between, it's like brother the game has kept a daily active playerbase of 2 - 3 million for years, and like I said before not everyone plays at the exact same time, so that number could be a lot more, all in all I'm just sick of this constant negative attitude everyone has towards anything Epic does with the game, it's been here almost since the very beginning, and has never changed, there will always be a portion of the community mad at Epic for something, and another portion who are just hopping on and having a good time
LOL i stopped reading when you said i said the developers aren't working on the game. i said they aren't focusing on BR, they're focusing on Festival and LEGO mode which should be their own games and have their own teams.

@@topherleon you see why actually have a conversation when you can just say something on the lines of "I ain't reading allat" or "keep crying", plus it's simply not true that they aren't focusing on BR, you call all that content they dropped on us at the start of the season, the avatar collab, reworking of old guns, and the mini live event that's currently going on nothing? this is all in the span of basically 2 months, they have different teams working on all the modes, from what I'm seeing all the modes are getting a substantial amount of content throughout each month

@@topherleon you literally asked in the video "is it entitlement?" so I responded to that question with yes, I think it does scream entitlement, it's like you expect the employees to go back to the Chapter 1 days when they were being crunched and constantly having to make brand new items and whatever else almost every single week my guy, I mean you basically insulted the developers in the video, especially Harmonix and the people working on Lego basically calling those modes cheap cash grabs with no substance, just matching your passive aggressive energy on display brother
