y'know im not even a skrillex fan, i dont listen to this typa music really and i dont see myself coming back to the album other than the bladee n lean songs BUT i think it was a pleasant listening experience, this to me felt like a genuine and kinda personal album for skrillex. just something he did out of his heart, something to vibe out to. i respect it
I really sat with Quest for a good week before I approached this album and was… pleasantly surprised! It was definitely a different vibe but I appreciated it and see what he was trying to do… This was more chill and personal… As someone whose damn near memorized Quest, I f*cking love that the albums really do talk to each other… This is another Bravo from me! 🎉🎉🎉!
I liked the "Quest For Fire" and hated the "Don't Get Too Close" when i heard them first time but as soon as i heard them on repeat the Vibe went real and now I kinda started to like to new Skrillex Style
So glad we got the other album before this one. Quest for Fire is consistently awesome and I enjoy it much more as a project whereas this one is still alright, but its got highlights and low points for sure.
