- VHS, DV, and High-Definition Video from Sitka Alaska. Filmed and produced by Sitka' Oldduffer. Culture, Wildlife, Sealife, Hiking, Fishing, Hunting, and Historical Locations. Summary:
Uploading Vintage video from Sitka Alaska. To include Home Movies, Scenery, Culture, Hiking, Wildlife, Sea Life, Fishing, Hiking, Hunting and Family Stuff. Eventually well over 30 hours of VHS, DV, and HD Video will be uploaded to this channel.
GOAL:
The goal is to upload to RUclips, my complete collection of videos and photographs. I will start by uploading the oldest material first, which is old VHS quality video. Since old VHS video has very little information, it cannot be up graded to higher quality HD or 4K. There is no way to improve VHS video quality.
As I move into the higher quality HD video footage, I will begin using new available Ai software to improve the quality of that material. Much of it can be improved to 4k quality.
Editing:
I will be doing very little editing of the videos. There is well over 30 hours of material. Most of the videos will be short in length. A few could be an hour in length. Many of the individuals in those videos have now passed away. I no longer have the physical or cognitive ability to make fancy video productions. I can no longer remember the names of some of the individuals in those videos. I will "clean" some of the video up the best I can and perform some basic trimming.
The video descriptions will be short and to the point. I no longer have the ability to identify some of the individuals in some of the videos. As you watch the videos you can eventually identify certain individuals and "characters". Some of those people can be very entertaining.
The RUclips comment section will be closed. I do not have the time, nor am I willing to spend the time monitoring comments, or deleting comments left by rude individuals, or people who use the comment sections to promote themselves or their own channels.
The RUclips video can be watched using any device. However, I highly recommend that you stream the video from RUclips to your television set. Especially for the future HD video. For streaming, you can use a new "Smart TV" or other streaming device like a Fire Stick or ROKU. We use a basic $29 Fire Stick on a 12-year-old TV. It works great.
facebook:
I will occasionally leave some information of Peggy's facebook page. However, the video will only be available on this RUclips Channel.
