The green urban EX28L that I purchased about 3 years ago burst its welded seem at the right back bottom corner, the newer backpacks seem to have the same weak weld design. The backpack functioned well new but sadly it is not durable beyond 3 years.
Unfortunately the material stats to flake off over a year or two. If you go to a store for a replacement they'll say it's normal wear and tear, thus making their lifetime guarantee worthless.
will it affect the waterproofing?
I looked at a lot of backpacks online the last few days trying to figure out exactly what I need and finally decided on this 20 I version.I'm a little concerned whenever standing in line with a backpack that someone behind me might be going into the multiple zippered pockets etc. and this eliminates that, also needed to be waterproof and have a laptop pocket so this was perfect.
How has the bag held up for ya? Currently looking into a new motorcycle bag, and this is an option I have in mind

I really miss the zipper pocket at the top. My old one has it and I find it indispensable. That's the only reason why I might not buy a new one. Even though I find the grey with blue details très chic.
I have the 20l. Great bag,. Adequate space for my laptop, a change of clothes, a bottle of drink and a lunchbox. my only gripe is that the daisy chains are too close together. It's a struggle to get my ABUS Granit 540 to feed through the loops.
Moving to the city soon and need a simple heavy duty backpack that’s secure and can hold a lot of weight… I’m trying this one out!
This is a great functional backpack I will definitely buy once it comes in any other color besides black. I have very specific needs, not only do I need my bag to be highly functional but I need it to be somewhat stylish.
All black is a safe design but ultimately a boring basic one. Just want something with a LITTLE bit of style in addition to high functionality.
I hate bags with black interiors pockets bc it's so easy to lose stuff in their and it limits quickly finding stuff to pull out.
This bag gets an A+ for functionality (which u can argue is all that matters at the end of the day)
But I give it a C+ for style

I didn't know those back loops were reflective ? I have the 30 I carried a hole bike set up minus the seat a post. I had my friend carry that in his bag.
Yup, we try to sneak in reflectivity where we can without making the bag look too crazy.
