I love Delaware. I'm from the Townsend i do volunteer work in other country's for months at a time and no matter how awesome and like a postcard it is I'm always dreaming of Delaware. GREAT VIDEO.
I had gone from Oceanside California to Ocean City Maryland for a job that was going to last about 10 years, The 1st thing I did was to check out were I was going to be surfing while I was there, I stopped at Indian River in Delaware and even with being so small you could see the potential, if it was bigger I really liked the n. side of the river on smaller days I would surf the s. side to just paddle out and get worked a lot of surfers don't know how powerful that wave is with top to bottom barrels and if it was really a bigger swell I would be surfing the outer sand bar that one of the locals told me about because I needed boards and he needed someone good enough to ride them so it worked out for both of us when it got really big I surfed 56 street
Just because EC surfers don't have big waves that doesn't mean that we aren't as good as WC surfers. Honestly, we all surf, we all like to be out there but we each have to surf with what the ocean gives us at the closest spots. If you are so sure you better than everybody else then congrats, want a cookie? Seriously, who gives a shit? Nobody because no matter what we all still surf.
