    B-29 Turret Resurrection
Van from Quest Masters Museum questmasters.us/ came to the shop for our latest 4-day coachbuilding class. What he brought in was incredible and a complete mess. Over the last 4 days he beat the turret into submission, then used the English wheel to smooth it all out. By the last day it looked as if he brought in a whole new piece!

Did you forget to say "Metal is Clay"? This project is proof positive that *any metal* can be rearranged. Thanks for showing.

And those rivets might have been put in place by "Rosie". Aircraft restoration is always a labor of love. Some very talented people doing that work and really great job on that turret. 💪

Great work. I’m a WWII USAAF collector as well. Please leave the battle damage as living proof of its history.

My dads friend made nose cones for planes in ww2 , he said they were very roughly made as it was rush work and they weren't going to be up in the air for long
