Not only is Pacino one of the most greatest actors to ever embrace the screen he is also one of the most fascinating actors to listen too ... Wikipedia of roles, experience and knowledge... I love this guy!
The end of this episode was really moving. They had an elderly ex British soldier, i think he was about 100 years old, and they unveiled a painting of him, to him and his son... Al Pacino was by them when they did, and he just seemed SO personable towards them, and caring a and respectful. Class.
AL PACINO is my favorite actor. He is fearless in his versatility of roles and his movies are iconic just like his acting. Panic In Needle Park, The Godfather 1 & 2, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon. And Just For All, Scarface, Sea Of Love, Scent Of A Woman, Carlito’s Way, Donnie Brasco etc. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🙌🏽
Al is really down to earth humble guy!!! I can listen to him for hours, he looks great for his age. Still looks late 60s to early 70s, and still really handsome. Also really funny
My favorite actor of all time. I love this man so much. I could rewatch the godfather movies over and over and over again. Dog Day Afternoon has also become a favorite movie of mine
Al still remains a class act. His great films have long entered into legendary status. Whether it be "The Godfather 2", "Serpico" or the brilliant "Carlito's Way", he gave it his all with some memorable performances. As for "The Irishman", Al was magnificent as Jimmy Hoffa. He is now in the twilight of his career, but he can look back on his career with enormous pride.
Wow what beautiful soul Al has , beautiful words and beautiful mind, wonderful man and Logan Lerman he seems to be really lovely young man. I really enjoyed video, thank you for posting it.
Michael Corleone, Tony Montana, Serpico, Carlito... No me canso de ver sus películas. Grande, muy grande. Leyenda, uno de los mejores actores. ¡Único!, me vuelve loca Al Pacino. Estaría horas y horas escuchándole.
A lot of actors don’t make for very good interviews(De Niro for example - certainly when he was younger, and the one with Barry Norman - and Daniel Day Lewis), but Al is one of the intriguing ones.
Even as a child Al would re-enact scenes from The Lost Weekend & Yankee Doodle Dandy for his beloved grandfather. A born performer & no mistake...His terrific film with Gene Hackman, the Scarecrow is too seldom shown, sadly...
He’s one of the greatest actors of all time and imo the best. So many incredible performances over the years but I’d say Dog Day Afternoon is my favourite.
Its my favourite too that and justice for all. I do have a question for u thought I always tried to figure out the secret that makes al such a good actor and how he seems different from each character he plays. Do u happen to know why?
I do have a question for u thought I always tried to figure out the secret that makes al such a good actor and how he seems different from each character he plays. Do u happen to know why?
It was a Saturday evening in December 1983 at the Booth Theater. We bought tickets to see Al in American Buffalo. Somehow I realized once sitting, what horrible seats, way way in the back. Al looked as small as a penny. His performance was a giving! At the end we hurried outside hoping to get our Playbill signed. Well we waited, and out came Al ,before hand a women was collecting our playbills and it’s authenticity was Als signature. The black 1983 Jeep pulled up almost hitting my wife.He entered his black 1983 wagoner Jeep and proceeded to roll down the window and extended his hand . I shook his hand and said hey Migelie Corleone saying it in Italian accent. He smiled with confidence. Till this day I have the picture and serves a great memory.
He was born to do it spesh being an only child wiv that chemistry. However he's been smart temperate as much as an acclaimed actor can b to always put the work first middle and last but learning the other side of the business to an aplomb. Very engaging . A rare gem
Any Given Sunday speech delivered by Al Pacino is arguably the greatest most motivational speech I have ever heard in a film! Should have been included in this tribute. A great film with some great acting and story. One of Oliver Stone's best films.
Imagine a movie with Al Pacino, Clint Eastwood, Sean Connery, Morgan Freeman, Harrison Ford, Jack Lemmon(RIP), Robert De Niro, That would be something.
No Cowser in theory yes but in reality it’ll be a flop. Great actors and acting is like caviar, it tastes good in small amount, but a large leaves bad taste.
Typical Matt Baker question...."So Al Pacino it's great to have you on the show, does method acting come naturally or is it something you have to work on, because I suppose essentially you're playing a part but also trying to become the person as well, does that bother you at all, or are you just glad to be acting because I know your real passion is snorkeling isn't it, I'm sure I read that somewhere so is this the job you've always wanted to do or are you looking to do some other types of work, and what does the character mean to you because I know you've had a similar upbringing and always yearned to play someone who makes cheese for a living, so do you normally like playing the cheese making, snorkeling bad guy?"
I think we're seeing the sunset of his carrer right now, The Irishmnan was the last or hopefully one of the last good things he does in Cinema. I hope he does at least one more good film besides The Irishman, Sad but true, it reminds me of Brando last years , or any other great actor in the last years of his carrer, they just trying to get by, without Pacino there would not be Joaquín Phoenix, Gary Oldman, Christian Bale, Tom Hardy etc..
ok i hear you ,but we got an interesting bit of pacino really talking ,,this interview doesnt happen in america ,,diffrent style etc ,,,and its al pacino ,,lets put our cardigans on to chat ,,sooo english ,,he loved it ,too,,,
As far as British hosts' standards, perhaps. But I've been watching a string of interviews with Al and have to say this is one of the rare ones where they seem to make him feel at ease talking about and being himself. He seems to subtlety appreciate being heard.
I do have a question for u thought I always tried to figure out the secret that makes al such a good actor and how he seems different from each character he plays. Do u happen to know why?
It's fucking acting...you do it everyday...big fucking deal! It's the script, the direction, the story. This guy is real but he who is he anyways...a face, a voice...pick your leaders wisely...it ain't actors.
fact im afraid, as wonderful as he is, Pacino is gay, he had a relationship with Spacey around 88, in London, after Glengarry Glen Ross. The cab driver had them in the back of his cab and dropped Spacey off at the Old Vic theater and took Pacino onto a hotel. They were making out in the back seat. No wonder he likes this fine young gentleman..
I'm slightly obsessed with hearing Al Pacino speak. He's so funny and down to earth.
I love his voice so much.
AL is real old school, brilliant actor, sadly they don't make them like him anymore, long may he continue.!!
Sadly they grow old. And eventually gone. Irreplaceable.
Can u make it more depressiveeee
@@bengramos9305 so much sadness wow its a treasure isnt it...bla bla

I like his work as an actor and a director in Chinese coffee as well.

I was lucky enough to meet him on two occasions in London and on both times he was an absolute gentleman!

What a lovely guy - a megastar for half a century but so grounded and accessible and friendly. A truly phenomenal catalogue of films...
So cute that he said never had listened to the fans talking about him that way. ❤
Great Interview with the Greatest of all the Great Actors of All Time!
