Such a beautiful country that I hope to visit someday, not only to enjoy that beauty but to see the birthplace of Burt Munro !! As the crow flies, I'm not that far from the Bonneville salt flats. Burt is a hero around here!!
I'm so thankful to live where I do...cost me $150 to fill up my diesel yesterday, so even in the middle of Wyoming, it's rough... it isn't getting better, it's not going to for awhile. In two years we've watched these morons ruin this country. Glad I have an '85 gasser F150, she starts every time. People are in trouble. Stupidity is more dangerous than malevolence. One my favorite things to do as a kid was go up to grandparents place in AK and chop cord wood out at the wood shed until my hands bled and listen to the old AM radio. Made hitting a baseball pretty easy. Here's what I have to say about voting for these idiots...don't vote for an incumbent, period. This nonsense happening today isn't what this country is about. It's corrupt, it's insolvent, our dollar is worth less than your firewood. Until we get back to some sort of monetary standard that's backed with something other than lies, we're done. I trade and barter as much as possible and encourage more people to do the same. We have to walk away from these clowns in DC. The people of this country are still strong, but they have to realize it. Great message, brother. I'd say be well, but you already are! Well said!
Less gov is always better. I wish you were my neighbor. You look like you may be in Co, or Wyo that wood looks like fir. We don't have any here in Tn but my kids burn it in Wyo and ND. Really great looking forge and shop set up. I bought a splitter when I turned 60 that was nine years ago and it was a good buy for my back and shoulders. Stay warm
Yep, red fir and tamarack. We were lucky this year to find it because around here its mostly pine and juniper. Last year I burned mostly lodge pole pine.
