Thank you Ma'am for the knowledge you've shared. My own problem is my books are being published and its all appearing on the first page of search on Amazon but its not making sales, but whenever i try to promote my books by activating the free book promotion, they ordered like 109 of my books in total this month alone and that alot of money but only on free prom. Once the prom is over they stop buying or ordering
Thank you Gabrielle for sharing this video it was very interesting & useful information. I write only fictional e-books/print-books and I sell them on both Amazon KDP & Draft2Digital (D2D) and I have had more success with D2D than Amazon. I've sold a fair amount of my fiction but would love to sell a huge more. 💖
It has been a month since our first book was published on Amazon KDP. We are two sisters who collaborated on a fictional story called From Ashes to Vengeance. It’s so true that reaching your audience and making your very first sale, especially in the first month, is incredibly challenging. I’ll definitely go back and recheck the details you mentioned. Thank you for the video! ❤ Wishing you all the best too! 🫶
@gabriellenunez.motherhoodbliss Thank you so much ❤️ Yup , It is available on Amazon and Google Play books. We were actually looking for ways to market our book and see what else we can do and come across your video and discovered that we were not using many keywords , hopefully that will work too 🤞.
Just my opinion, but that title doesn't really fit the 'from, to' form of comparison. So the title -although understandable, sounds amateurish and not really attractive...
@@3minuteisland372 We appreciate your opinion 🙌. However, we feel that "From Ashes to Vengeance" fits the story well. The title reflects Jung Woo-jin’s journey. After being betrayed and killed, his life is reduced to "ashes." But when he is reborn in the body of Jang Do-hyun, he gets a chance to rise again. The word "vengeance" shows his determination to seek justice and confront those who wronged him. The title captures this transformation-from losing everything to fighting back. We believe it represents the heart of the story. But We would still love to hear your thoughts on this after reading this explaination...If this title is suitable or not 🥰
@@Moon-l6w As i mentioned in my comment, your intention with this title is understandable. Your description only confirms that. It's just an awkward twist, imo, on an obvious and cliched sort of title. A more imaginative title might attract more readers. Then again, there may be plenty of readers who don't care about or notice such things. Good luck and hope you do well. ..
I created about 76 journals, coloring books, motivational journals, but still no sales after they first were uploaded to KDP. , beginning with the first batch, about two months ago. I uploaded 3 daily, and they look fine to me cos Im very creative and also paint, but haven't sold even one yet. I even recently went back and changed and added keywords, and descriptions, but still no sales. I am a senior and dont have money for Amazon ads or courses. Any advice please? Obviously I have zero reviews as well cos of zero sales. Could you please do a video about how to do the author Central thing cos I have no clue how to do that, lol. Im not on any social media cos I really am not interested in social media and don even use Facebook.
Hi! Yes I can make a video about that. If it’s only been two months since you changed keywords, it takes a bit before Amazon recognizes the change. I recommend getting some reviews… even though they say family and friends don’t count, if you ask them to purchase and review it does help. Or try getting reviews through Gemsy (link in description). Feel free to share a link to one of your books to take a look ;)
In your opinion, while starting out, is it better to go for high demand - high competition keyword, or low demand - low competition. It is very hard to find keywords with low competition and moderate-high demand. And I have low Ad budget. BTW working on my first coloring book.
There should be a demand for sure, but the competition must not be too high. The Titans Pro tool it shows you high demand keywords with low competition! My new high content book title which I will talk about in another video, is using one of those magical keywords! So at first go for high demand but middle to low competition.
Hello, I’m new here. What advice would you give me to get started with KDP? I’d like to create storybooks, but I don’t know where to start. What is the link to your book?
Hi! Well that depends on how much you know already. I recommend you check out Self Publishing Titans course and tools to get started. I placed the link in the video description. They guide you in that course through the basics and the whole process of keyword research, niche selection, creating and uploading your book, etc. Good luck! 🍀😃
This is very informative! I got a silly question but I do hope you can answer it. Is it against the copyright law to draw a well known pose as a reference? Like for example, drawing the titanic's romantic pose of Rose and Jack but you're drawing it with your own character. I mean I used the pose as an inspiration. Is that allowed or is that a sign of copyright? I hope you can reply and answer this. Thank you!
I'm glad you liked my video! In regards to your question, I can say this: I am not a copyright or trademark expert, so you'd probably be better off asking a lawyer, but from my research I discovered this: Supposedly it's not against copyright law to use a pose as reference or inspiration, even from a well-known scene like the Titanic, because copyright law does not protect: Poses, General composition ideas, Common gestures and Basic arrangements of figures. What copyright does protect is: The specific artistic expression, Direct copying of unique artistic elements, Exact reproduction of copyrighted images. In your case, drawing your own characters in a similar pose to the Titanic scene seems to be ok because: You're creating original characters, you're using your own artistic style, and you're just using the basic pose concept as inspiration. This kind of reference and inspiration is a common and accepted practice in art. Artists frequently use poses from photographs, movies, and other artwork as reference to create their own original pieces. What matters is that your final work is your own creative expression, not a direct copy of the source material. If you're ever concerned about a specific usage, you can always make your pose slightly different from the reference to further differentiate your work... but always consult an expert in copyright and trademark law just in case. There are some really good videos on Amazon's copyright and trademark guidelines on youtube - and also check KDP University: kdp.amazon.com/help/topic/G200783400

Hi! As long as you’re not breaking any of their rules, and the keywords are relevant to your book, I don’t see why they would block it.
cool!
Thank you!
Im working on mine now...

Thanks for the video. Please can you make a video of how you used the Titan pro tool to fix your keywords for your old books

Hi, why do you think made your books start selling?
Keyword research 😉. I updated the keywords in the description and in the backend.
