Golden Freddy: His encounters act in phases, with you being required to shock him three times and his display of "It's me" and his face showing up each time you move on to the next phase. The first phase only allows you to use the mask, flashlight & shocker mechanics, while he constantly haywires & gives off static, in this phase, he behaves almost exactly like Toy Bonnie. Eventually, when you shock him at the right time, he'll move on to his second phase. The second phase is mostly similar, however he now adapts Toy Freddy's power drain mechanic, which he can use at any time. After shocking him again, you move on to his final phase, where you must collect his hat and shock him once more. This phase can either be played in Ballora's sound mechanic, or Mangle's timer mechanic, the player must collect his hat, which will appear on the floor, and then shock him in time to win. edit: it random rng
ABOUT HIS MECHANICS: He has like 6 behaviors, each is randomly selected whenever you see the "it's me" hallucinations, his behaviors: - Bonnie/Freddy-like, will legit act just like normal Bonnie/Freddy (strong static, red eyes only, long charge, possibly only haywires when looked at directly, slow steps) - Toy Freddy-like, will act exactly like Toy Freddy (strong static, white eyes only, power drain, long charge, haywires in front of the player, strong disruption, slow steps) - Springtrap-like, will act just like Springtrap, but with the mask. (wide and weak static, eye color changes, short charge, haywires in waves and in the middle of the static) - Mixed up, there is a strange preset where he can haywire with red eyes only and drain power, also has Mangle's/Balloras super-fast steps. - Mangle-like, will act similar to Mangle, dropping a part will create a buzzer sound, collect it quickly, you can see the timer when you have the flashlight selected, if you collect it he will charge and decloak, then you have to shock him, just looking is not enough. Can haywire with red eyes, but not white. Sometimes Mangle's voice lines will play, probably a bug. For some reason whenever I fought him, he always decloaked right after picking up the first part. - Ballora-like, Ballora's meters will activate here, if minireenas will start climbing, shake them off, but the parts you have to collect are dropped normally, meaning you don't collect minireenas after knocking them off, you collect Goldy's parts when he drops them, there is no timer here, but taking too long to pick up a part will cause a jumpscare anyway. Pay attention to the meters as his static DOES NOT always indicate his location, he tends to teleport around, he can be somewhere but without causing static, so you kinda have to have Ballora's meters active to see where he actually is, HOWEVER YOU MUST SHOCK HIM IF HE DECLOAKS, just looking at him is not enough, the thing is, he sometimes decloaks after collecting 1 or 2 parts, then he can charge in the middle of the static zone, but if you collect 3, he will decloak in front of you. My theory is that the amount of parts you have to collect during Ballora's phase depends on which phase it happened to be during the encounter, if it's his first mechanic, you collect 3, if it's his 2nd, you collect 2 or even 1, if it's his 3rd mechanic he can decloak WITHOUT dropping any parts, ALWAYS BE READY TO QUICKLY SWITCH TO THE SHOCKER AFTER COLLECTING THE PART AND REMEMBER WHERE IS THE MIDDLE OF HIS STATIC! (14:25 you can see that, here a shock was needed) Known Bugs: - Infinite Haywire: Most often happens during Springtrap's phase, Goldy will poof out of existence instead of ending the haywire, if his eyes were white at the time, u ded, if they were red, the haywire will continue forever and will insta-jumpscare you the moment you take the mask off. - Infinite Stalking: This probably happens during the Mixed-up phase, not sure exactly, but the result it that Goldy will refuse to do anything except walking, no charges, no haywires, no parts, no power drain, nothing, just an occasional distruption, the encounter will last infinitely and there is no real way to stop it, you just have to quit the encounter. He will walk like Mangle/Ballora and make a lot of static, he will also teleport at random, static will disappear and he will start walking elsewhere, when it happened to me he kept doing that for 30 minutes straight. - It's either a bug or a mechanic I don't quite get but as described in Ballora's section, the amount of parts you have to collect is inconsistent, can decloak randomly after picking up a part.

The company didn't even know what they were for a while, describing them as a "vintage Bonnie model with a rotting smell." This could be the digital essence of William Afton, Glitchtrap, moving between Help Wanted's plot and Special Delivery's plot, passing through technology and hacking it. Glitchtrap is able to hack through code to get where it needs to be. But so is Golden Freddy, or in this case, Cassidy. With part of Afton still running around and causing chaos, Cassidy used their powers to chase Afton through Help Wanted, causing all of the "It's Me" messages. Then Glitchtrap escaped to the deployment roster of Fazbear Delivery, leaving a part of itself behind, which turned into the Springtrap models that started shipping out and attacking people. And where William goes, Cassidy follows behind to take him out. Golden Freddy, passing through the code of the delivery roster, might have accidentally left a part of glitched out code behind, which manifested into a broken Golden Freddy model, with broken movements, glitched mechanics, and incorrect colors. TL:DR - Glitchtrap hacking into the delivery roster created the hostile Springtrap animatronics, and Cassidy/Golden Freddy tried to do the same but it glitched out and made a broken Golden Freddy animatronic with glitched out mechanics, colors, and movements.

I think in the files of fnaf vr there was a scrapped animation of Golden Freddy sitting in his iconic position, dragging his body towards the player with his feet.
What I just realized is that Golden Freddy can have the mechanic of every animatronic in the game which is why you must use the button on the bottom left to switch counter mechanics in order to defeat Golden Freddy. Illumix has given Golden Freddy the best mechanic in game (besides plushtrap)!

Golden freddy seems "alittle" overpowered with the current gameplay, if there were icons that would show up of the characters that golden freddy was copying it would make the player think more rather then blindly playing picking abilities and ultimately just dying.

Golden freddy seems "alittle" overpowered with the current gameplay, if there were icons that would show up of the characters that golden freddy was copying it would make the player think more rather then blindly playing picking abilities and ultimately just dying.
