I am having problem after converting the face control to simplified version ,skin weights around the lips are totally messed up in unity after baking and exporting the fbx
Is the simplified face setup no longer available? I can't find it anywhere in the latest version. Also, is there any way to limit weight influences to 4 or 8 in order to limit the complexity for game engines?

I have "Simplified-FaceSetup" along with & without "optimize SkinCluster for export in" & "optimize joint-count for export" but unfortunately, it is not working properly. Facial expression is broken in some areas! I am using maya 2019 & AS 5.720 Please help me. Thanks
I had the exact same problem and it drove me nuts. I have tried every setting and every version of fbx files listed. Same problem. fbx files in unity had problems with eyelids and eyeballs. Fixing this problem was easy. Just export your file as DAE_FBX.
me too ,use :convert to BlendShape and Convert to BlendShadpe Only. then got fbx with Blendshape ready for unreal4 morph But its not work ,seem too complex too import ! In my test project ,Its dead end ,even I wait for more than 10 hours.

Is that "simplified face setup" option gone now? I'm on version 5.450 and I don't see it in the face section.
"simplified face setup" option on version 5.250
This got me too. It has been renamed to 'Convert to Blendshapes Only' - go into Face > Blendshapes >Convert to Blendshapes Only. good luck

seem's like the face mesh is gone when it's imported to unreal4. Is there any solution to this?
