Thank you for your question. If AM is reduced what happens is that C3A decreases slightly and C4AF slightly increases, but not too much effect on kiln operation. Because at the same time we operate seven kilns in one location, and have the same problem when MgO > 4%. So we try to mix raw materials that have a high MgO content with those that are low in MgO, so that the MgO raw mix is between 2.5 - 3.5% according to the target.

As long as the MgO element is still high, AM is increased or reduced, the coating still forms. If AM is reduced, more melt will occur and vice versa.
