    Good I worked 38 years in cement in electrical dept . Waste gas fan motors were so critical in this process 😊

      There are several brands of portable gas analyzers, you can search the internet according to the type you want, there is one tool that can be used to measure CO, CO2, O2, SO2, NOX, NO, NO2 and temperature. You also have to complete a Pitot Tube Anemometer to measure the speed of hot gas in each channel of the preheater cyclone.

    Sir, i have question calcination level in precalcinator is too high 97.7%, what could be the problem for this? Also the clinker is dusty and kiln operator saying is hard to produce clinker. What cause this impact on clinker quality?

      Thank you for your question sir.
      To answer your questions, operating data should be supported such as the LSF%, SM%and IM%, Caliner Outlet temperatures.
      Clinker quality, what is the %freelime value, %C3S and %C2S?
      Calcination 97.7% can be caused by LSF% below the target and calciner outlet temperature of more than 890 degrees Celsius.
      Dusty clinker can be caused by high silica modulus or more than 2.65% and iron modulus of more than 1.75%.
      To overcome this problem you can reduce the use of fuel in calciner and raise fuel in the main burner kiln. And adjust the use of clinker cooling air, especially in room 1 and 2 clinker cooler.

      LSF 95%, SM 2.15%, AM 1.5%, This parameter is too low for the OPC cement production process that uses coal as fuel. This causes high decarbonization process, dusty in kiln operation which can be caused by high ash content and high coal residue. You can reduce fuel consumption in the calciner and switch it to the main burner.
      If this happens for a long time, there is potential for chocking in the lowest cyclone preheater.

      If there is a drop in pressure on the cyclone preheater, there are not many obstacles inside the cyclone, meaning that the separation process between the material and the hot gas also decreases. This generally occurs when the inner tube is too short or there is no inner tube.

    Sir, but if there are no dip tubes and to check the operation we can check the DOC for both C4 and C5 cyclones. If DOC for C5 is 92-94% and C4 is 20% then we can say our operation is going good. Am i correct?
