When I bought a NorthWest Crane in 1989 the seller gave me a few Tubes of Topsol synthetic Open gear Lubricant. Topsoil went out of Business and I have not found any other brand that works as well. TEXACO Crater Compounded worked pretty well was very messy and has been discontinued because it had lead in it ect. You had to heat it before you could apply it with a flat stick like a paint stirring stick. Texaco also had Crater Fluid M that had either in it. Keep the 5 gallon pail sealed so the either does not evaporate. Apply with a paint brush then it set up and worked OK .
The TopSol came in caulk tubes..
    I used Bel-Ray two stroke Prem-mix oil for years .. I kept closer to 40-1 ..
