Love your content. I’ve seen some of your reviews and the Ballr Heat and BnB Filth catch my eye for a paddle purchase. Is there one you would recommend out of these two? I tend to lean more as a power player having a tennis background. Thanks in advance!
TKO-CK 14.3 or CRBN 3X? I come from a tennis background, so I love my drives but a lot of my shots are very spin focused. I put top spin on 90% of my shots so the grit is a big factor for me. Which do you think would be the better of the two?
Love your reviews. 1) The TKO CX 12.7 hits more powerful than my gen 3 perceus 16mm, but I can't dink or reset with the TKO -CX 12.7mm. 2) I tried to use your STSPICKLEBALL code on pickleball central, but website states it does not exist. Am I entering the code incorrectly on pickleball central, or there was an expiration on that code? 3) will the TKO-C 12.7 mm have a slightly bigger sweet spot than the TKO CX 12.7mm? I feel the sweet spot on the TKO CX 12.7mm is not big, and off center shots the ball just dies as compared to the gen 2 paddles.
Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention :) I just emailed them and will see if I can get it back going. The C will have a slightly bigger sweet spot yes.
I honestly like both for different reasons. I think the 14.3 is an incredible all court paddle but the 12.7 is crazy hot off the face and has a ton of pop and power.
I bought the new gen 3 Joola Perseus 16mm yesterday and ordered the Paddletek TKO-CX 12.7 today. I can't wait to get it & try it. How do you think the two compare? Oh yeah, I have the Gearbox Pro Power and really like it too. Thanks
The Perseus has more power and if you get a gritty one will have a bit more spin, but the TKO-CX will be poppier and has a unique feeling off the face. Also that longer handle is badass for two handed backhands.
There's nothing wrong with drinking soy for men. Only if you drink lots like 12 cups a day or more. I think it is possible that Alshon throat felt irritated after drinking soy might be due to certain additives in the brand of soy? I had similar experience but when I changed the brand of soy, I never had that problem. Coming back to the TKO-C paddle, I demoed the 12.7mm one today. It felt very light. Didn't get the chance to put on lead tapes but so far, it felt very similar to the ALW-C 12.7mm one but not as loud.
@@sohosterable yeah he said he has a specifically allergy to dairy and to soy. And yes the 12.7 is light I would add lead like he does to it for ideal results!
Mobility is so important. I ignored it when I was younger. Now, in my 40's I'm so inflexible. I really need to work on it. I don't want to be one of those old guys that struggle to bend down to pick up the ball.
@@sohosterableIf you play with other people at your level it should be fun no matter what. There are a bunch of local seniors 50-75 years old who play most mornings and even the ones who don't have high mobility have a blast most of the time.
Been analyzing that lately. Is it annoying to have in the background? I am here for you guys not for me so I want to make your experience the best I can make it.
I like the grin when he said PB takes longer to master than tennis. 😂
Awesome. Love to see alshon anywhere anytime. Been following him and will continue to.
Yeah he's a good dude super fun to talk to!!
That was a great interview. Got to know a bit of Christian, what a good dude. Also more props for STS, subbed for a while and thumbs up.
Thanks for the comment! I agree Christian was a pleasure to hand out with and chat with!
Really nice guy! His vlogs are great and I cant wait to see this guy win a PPA Tour.
100% agree!
He has ❤️

I’d grab the BALLR Heat I like the feel off the face better and the spin is way higher 😊

TKO-CX 14.3 I would say if you come from Tennis :)

As always - love the content! Seems like people think the 14.3mm is ok but love the 12.7. Same experience for you?

Love this interview! Been really looking forward to his paddle sadly paddletek doesn't ship to the Philippines 😢
Sorry bro did you check and see if pickleball central does?
Hi, when is your release of review for this paddle?
Should be done by this weekend!

I do have a 2-handed backhand and prefer paddles with grips longer than 5.5”. Thanks for the video and the comments. Keep up the good work!
I thought we all knew by now that men should not be eating soy whenever possible. Great interview that really painted CA in a very positive light.
Yeah Christian is a good dude it was a pleasure interviewing him!

Great video. When will you make a review on Hudef viva pro gen3?
I will soon yes!
Whats the difference between the C and the CX?
C has a shorter handle and a longer face, CX has a longer handle and a shorter face. I have the full review up on my channel 😊
Is the joola gen 3 review coming out soon?
Should be next week if I can get it done!
Title says "Christian Alshon's...TKO-C" and he holds up a TKO-CX 12.7, which is the paddle he uses. TKO-C = short handle, TKO-CX = long handle.
Ahh good catch thanks
Bought the tko-cx based on the above interview. Now that the paddle (tko-cx) is no longer on the approved USAP list, I feel so let down >:(
Let’s keep an eye on it! Seems like it will end up in a good spot from what I’m hearing.
It is on the approved USAP list 👍🏼
@@TweenerKing heck yes it is 😎😎
@@TweenerKingyes it is! Thank you for letting me know. Took it out to play it on Sunday 😊 Fantastic paddle
Freaking awesome paddle Christian nailed it!
Swing weight? You dropping review on release day?
Going to try for sure. Dropping the review very soon either way!
@@stspickleballWhen is the review? Do you have a discount code?
@@robedwards6926 yeah I have the discount code at the start and end of this video! Review coming soon.
Are you going to review the tempest pro-c?
Yes it’s going to be lumped into my paddletek video coming out this week!
Does he use the 12.7 or the 14.3?
He uses the 12.7 TKO-CX he showed it in the video 😊
To reach 5.0 or better it’s all about fitness and mobility
I'm sure Matt wright is not all about fitness and mobility

@@robedwards6926 Exactly. If you’re not fit and mobile, the game becomes harder and there’s no fun anymore.

Lol same tbh I have been thinking about getting back into yoga.
Cut the music out

If your nutrition guide recommended trying soy then I'd find another dietitian
His nutrition guide told him the opposite via nutritional testing. Did you watch the video?
Chose paddletek because he’s dating Anna Leigh waters
He is?
