I played AC (2007) and AC2 when they originally came out then never played another one after because I got busy with life. Last month I went through the Ezio trilogy and I think Revelations was my favorite . There was nothing wrong with the game every single part was enjoyable and the story, the way things were brought together and we got to find out how Altair’s life went gosh it was all so perfect.
Jesus I can’t believe you had to wait that long after AC2 I couldn’t have done it. At least you got their in the end. And revelations is a great pick for afavourite
This is my favorite out of the trilogy. Ezio is still just as charismatic and dangerous as when he was a young man, but it's tempered with wisdom gained from decades of experience.
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed! and yeah Revelations' story was miles better than brotherhood's for sure I just think The setting of Rome compared to Constantinople well as some small gameplay elements give brotherhood the edge for me.
@@PeeTiii while i do agree brotherhood has probably the best gameplay in entire trilogy, i found myself enjoying it way more after completing the main story, imo only if the story was a bit more refined it would've been best in trilogy for me, my ranking is 1)AC2 2)AC revelations 3)AC brotherhood
@@PeeTiii ikr despite having the weakest gameplay, i have to admit ac2 has best environment in the trilogy imo, the music along with locations were just heavenly

Great video man! It amazes me that there are people like me going from time to time to the golden AC Era. Revelations is my favorite game from the enire franchise. The story of Ezio and Altair is better than most renowned TV series ( guess that's why Netflix are currently producing AC TV show hah). l have played and fully completed each AC game (expect the 2.5D trilogy - China, Russia etc) including side conent, collecatbles and misc. multiple times. l am even now in my 4th replay on the series and just finished Rogue and heading over to Unity in the following days. The past few years for the AC franchise have been...well bizzare ( at least for me) Apart from Origins (Bayek deserves a second game), the other two RPG games feel empty, with so many repetativeness, generic side content and lack of good storybulding elements that makes you wonder what happened with the series after Unity. l still miss my boy Desmond and not to mention his badass ancestors. Somehow everyting went downhill after his death and the lack of steady modern story + good protagonists. (After Kenways). Apologies for the long comment, keep up the good work mate. Hopefully we will see you convering Mirage when it comes out and/or other AC titles :)
Appreciate the comment man and i couldn't agree more with everything you said. I respect that Revelations is your favourite, its not a common choice, but the how the story connects desmond, Ezio and Altair in such an amazing way makes it a good choice. I'm too busy with studies until the summer, but then ill make vids on the other AC games and defo Mirage when it drops. Thanks again!
he became better at fighting as he gained more experience throughout the games, also probably because the devs improved at coding the combat haha. Yes AC3 will be next but it will probably be a while until its done because I'm very busy atm. Thanks for the support tho!

I've tried to combo them but they have a seemingly unbreakable defense, and before i can break it the other masked Janissarie shoots me in the friggin back. They also usually prefer to just shoot you instead of attack so countering is impossible too.
Yeah janissaries are the most annoying enemy archetype in the whole series imo, I think I either just spam counters with them or if they are aiming their gun I kick, attack, kick. Odyssey doesnt even have assassins or a hidden blade in it how can it be The best? Odyssey and Valhalla aren’t even assassins creed games and even by themselves are terribly made games
@@PeeTiii Seriously now, do you want to compare AC Revelations with the less saled and most unsuccessful from the whole collection of AC with the 2 most successful? Very well, let's get started. Do you want me to start with history? Odyssey is the beginning of EVERYTHING. You are not Assassin, even Templar, because they did not exist at that time, BUT you are the Keeper. You are the beginning of all that we are playing until now, and that we will play later. Kassandra and Alexios are the beginning of the Ancient Orders-Templars and Cultists-Hidden Ones- Assassins bloodlines. You are the connecting link. What else do you want, from a story which is the beginning of all that we have played so far and where we will be played later? Do you want to talk about graphics? Maps? Locations; Battles; Game mode? I believe that there is no point of comparison...Should we compare Valhalla to Revelations by the same standards? I don't think you really want it... The numbers and statistics spoke for themselves. Just for the sake of the story let me explain that it is the continuation of the Hidden Ones, it shows you their heyday and explains that beyond Egypt, they had spread everywhere and that for this reason there will be many more ACs in the future between 49 BC- 1191 CE... I am very pleased with the timelines-the stories of each AC and how UBISOFT tries to combine all AC together. I confirm with Panagiotis Stefanidis that Odyssey-Valhalla are the best AC so far...
@@pavire4217 no need to get aggressive i just asked for your opinion and you made a great case for those games. In writing, it sounds amazing, but the game does a very poor job of delivering the story IMO. If you think Kassandra and Alexios are better characters than Ezio then fair enough can end it there. And comparing sales makes no sense after Ubisoft reworked the franchise to appeal to more people, just for sales of course it will sell more. I think origins did a much better job at showing the creation of the hidden ones, odyssey felt pointless to me, they just wanted a setting in Greece even if it made no sense to AC.
