Trust me new ignis doesn't have this issue. 11 Nov 2020 i had solo drive 889km from Pune- Bangalore.. Fortunately I had tested my Ignis Alpha is worse drive condition.. I had encounter Heavy rain in Ghats hills during night with low visibility.... but Ignis performance came with flying colors... Alpha variant rear window wiper, fog lamps & day night IRVM adds to one's safety.. My Observation: I observed the external right & left mirrors are little smaller in size comapre to my Dzire ORVM.. The mirror tapered end profile little bit reduces the rear view. Lane changing to left side becomes challenging if 3 passenger are seated and in heavy rain condition one needs to be extra careful. For base version ignis I will recomment ro purchaser to change the internal mirror to Day night mirror and add fog lamps in front and rear bumper for their safety in night driving
