Thanks for the videos. I am a new hobbiest as well. I have a question because of my inexperience, I am having difficulty with finding out the reason behind the particular stamps is there a wikipedia like website that we can use to learn more about the history behind stamps? Welcome and thank you! It's a great question. For general information about the history of postage stamps, you might try The Smithsonian: postalmuseum.si.edu/exhibition/the-queen%E2%80%99s-own-postal-reforms-that-transformed-the-mail/the-worlds-first-postage-stamps
I'm not sure if a central database exists for the history behind all stamps, but the APS Library may have useful info: stamps.org/services/library

Thanks so much! This part of the hobby adds so much value for me. I have started the hobby not long after having my first kid and I thought if I can start it then she may follow mom’s footsteps and I am mostly building my collection around that idea. I definitelly have some cartoons to ensure she builds a temptation towards and some from our homeland and the rest more about the important occassions around the world and similar this way I hope she may learn precious information while having a hobby that can keep her occupied for hours… let’s see if I am too naive in my future plans.. but even if she does not I am enjoying it alot gives me enough room for change of mind. Again, thanks for tsking the time. I will start visiting both sides 🙏🏻
