I prefer 1 piece because its not so thicc in the core area but 2 piece is more practical for street use so u can take jacket off if you take a stop at a cafe shop for example.

Thanks for that feedback! I agree with the thicker core area, doubling up on the layers makes it a little rough that way.

I started doing track days with a 2 piece and it has all the advantages
that you hit on. I would have been more than happy to continue using
it because well, I'm a working man scratching to survive and I honestly
can't afford to invest in a one piece suit. With that said, I am patient and
always keep my eyes and ears open for "deals". I managed to catch a
flash sale that STG posted up for some Cortech one piece suits. I scored
a suit for less than $300. I have shorter legs and a bit longer torso but I've
got some "skills" and customized the legs on the suit to fit just about perfect.
Now I have a "custom fit" suit that fits really good and I don't have anything
bad to say about it. I see a lot of riders with their amazing, customized, fitted,
professional looking suits and get a bit jealous. I'm doing everything I can to
just afford to get to the track with fuel and tires. Definitely not complaining,
actually VERY grateful that I am able to get on the track and ride. If I had the
"option" to invest in a custom one piece suit I would do it without hesitation.
Good information and thanks for sharing it.
    Keep yourselves safe! 😃👍❤🏍🏁

As always thank you for that feedback Randy! It's nice to know people are willing to work as hard as you to hit the track!! I like what you mentioned about patience, deals are definitely out there if you're willing to wait and keep an eye open for them!!

@@workingclasscustoms There really are a bunch of options out there. At the track there are always riders that have a used suit in good condition that they are selling..... facebook marketplace, used track gear sites..... it can be done on a "budget". 😉

Solid assessment for both suit options . One big option I really like in any suit is to be vented because as you know these things are hot no matter what . Side note question ...regarding the wireless mic set up you're using , is that a DJI or Rhode and are you happy with its performance ?

Thank you for the feedback, I agree I should've talked about venting that is vital especially once temps get over 75!! It's a DJI mic and I absolutely love it, ease of use and performance are quite impressive!!

@workingclasscustoms Perfect, thanks for your honest opinion. I was on the fence between the two but will go ahead with the DJI based on you positive feedback. Cheers buddy 🍻
