I have changed my legal name so I ran the numbers on both sets of names. My "old" number definitely applied to me back in the day, but my new number shows my progression and is where I am comfortably sitting today. Logically it seems that the importance of a name would be the vibrational sound of it, not necessarily the individual letters. So if a name is not spelled phonetically and is constantly mispronounced I can see how that energy would have an effect on you if it's every single time someone mispronounces your name. That would be the same for names that are long and complicated in general. Hello Fairy Goblet. I would calculate both. The name on your birth certificate is your original Expression Number, which doesn't change with subsequent name changes. But your adopted name would give you an additional number often called a "Minor Expression Number" which provides added vibrations that you can draw on, on your journey.
I'm an 11 and always see numbers that reference using my talents. The 11 description was spot on except the unique talents and creativity. I have no idea what talents I have. Logically it seems that the importance of a name would be the vibrational sound of it, not necessarily the individual letters. So if a name is not spelled phonetically and is constantly mispronounced I can see how that energy would have an effect on you if it's every single time someone mispronounces your name. That would be the same for names that are long and complicated in general. I wonder when we break the name down to find the "paths" if we should base it on the sound of letters in Latin (Spanish for ease), especially the vowels sounds.
I got #1 but for 5he last 2-3 years have been seeing 11, 22, 33,55 numbers everywhere, and the description of these master numbers fit me pretty well. I'm not really sure what to do with it.
Check if any of your individual names (first, middle, last) add up to the master numbers. That might provide further insight.

Which name is supposed to be used? I had the choice of three different last names. The one I chose happens to be an 11 (by itself). If I add up the birth certificate numbers it works out to a six. I am slightly confused because each addition fits. If a single name adds to eleven do you still add it to the other names? Please help clarify.

Hello Fairy Goblet. I would calculate both. The name on your birth certificate is your original Expression Number, which doesn't change with subsequent name changes. But your adopted name would give you an additional number often called a "Minor Expression Number" which provides added vibrations that you can draw on, on your journey.

For those that have changed their name or go by a married name, this gives you a "Minor Expression Number." This doesn't change the Expression Number but it gives additional vibrations/energies for you navigate your path. If you have both names, you can do the calculation on both names to get your Expression Number, and also your Minor Expression Number.

10 reduces to 1+0 which is a 1 Expression Number. Totals must be reduced further until you get a single digit. The only exception to these are the master numbers 11, 22, and 33.

I've always had different ways forced on how it is spelled for various reasons. JO EL /JOEL/JO-EL I've even had mail sent to me Jo L. I prefer Jo-el, just like on my Birth Certificate.

Somebody or some group must have sat down one day and must have started writing them down so other people down the road of time, could have access to them. I Follow Lynda Goodman and she uses the date of your birth not your name? For instance what do you do when you have been adopted like myself. I had two names given to me one at birth and one when my mother adopted me. So this is a bit confusing as for as I am concerned. My original birth certificate was replaced with the new name that I was given. I was adopted when I was 6 weeks old.
