The Dynamic Shield design language is a characteristic of the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross. The elevated MPV's face resembles that of its larger sibling which is the Montero Sport. Updated in 2023 to mirror the current generation Xpander, the headlights on the 2023 Cross have a T-shape that blends in with the chrome highlights below the daytime running lights. The front bumper is now beefier and still houses the fog lamps and turn signals. Located slightly above the headlight housings at the top of the front fascia of the car are the daytime running lights. As the lifted version of the Xpander, the Cross has a black body package and additional features that give the car a more aggressive, almost SUV-like appearance.
With a little bit higher ground clearance, the Cross drives very much the same. It's a fun car to drive in the city because of its light steering and rather agile chassis. Unlike the Montero Sport, its stablemate, it is not a large handful. For those seeking a car that is easy to manage, its comparatively light weight is also a benefit. Its relatively compact size and excellent vision all around make driving it a breeze. The model's 4-speed gearbox, which offers respectable fuel efficiency and sufficient responsiveness, is likewise a strong performer.
The larger, more powerful variant of the Mitsubishi Xpander is called the Xpander Cross. It is the oblique replacement for the well-known AUV the Adventure from the brand. It is a more recent model that features a car-like chassis along with the brand's Dynamic Shield design language. The four coil springs on the new chassis should improve the vehicle's comfort. By increasing the vehicle's ground clearance to 225mm, the higher ride height also increases usefulness.
The Xpander Cross boasts a fuel-efficient engine that delivers comparable performance. A 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual transmission are available for the powerplant and both in front wheel drive.
Since 2023 Xpander Cross has a bigger tailgate spoiler, strong front and rear bumpers, and the same t-shaped headlamps. The Mitsubishi Active Yaw Control technology, which increases the vehicle's lateral stability by applying torque to the driving wheels at any given time, is also included.
It has Torsion beam suspension installed in the back of the Xpander Cross, while MacPherson Struts and Coil Springs are located up front. Disk brakes up front and drum brakes along the back provide stopping force. The MPV features a motor that generates enough performance, making it suitable for tough, uneven roads thanks to its suspension system and structural chassis.
The GLS Sport that the Xpander Cross replaces has the same attributes. It has an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen that supports navigation. A six-speaker system-two tweeters and four speakers-is used to transmit sound. Electric power steering, cruise control, controls situated on the steering wheel, tilt and telescopic steering wheel adjustments are other features of the Xpander Cross.
The cabin inside of the car is packed with tough polymers that are prepared to withstand regular use. The car has premium leather and fabric seat choices, depending on the version. A hands-free switch, parking brake lever, gear shift knob, and steering wheel covered in leather are included for those who choose the top-of-the-line model.
There is sufficient space inside the Xpander Cross, even in the second row. The third row may get crowded for both adults and little children, thus it's best suited for tiny individuals. There are plenty of cubby holes in the MPV because it offers so many storage options. It's easy to load and unload things into and out of the car thanks to a flat loading bay and a short loading lip.
SAFETY FEATURES
Two SRS airbags for the front passenger and driver are standard on the Xpander Cross. Additional features include traction control, active stability control, hill start aid, emergency stop signal, ISOFIX tethers, and an ABS system with electronic brakeforce distribution. With Mitsubishi's Active Yaw Control, which was added to the Xpander Cross in 2023, the vehicle can now maintain longitudinal acceleration and enhance lateral stability by managing the torque in the driving wheels at all times.

Xpc is budget wise than any other competitor..because it is simple..not so much spending for some electronics during maintenance. Traditional transmission also is cheaper to maintain than cvt.
