@@hywel4767 if u watch the beginning i show how to edit the resolution manually. MAKE sure in custom settings u press any resolution like 1x,2x, etc, so it can pop up in the cheat sheet. 1:00
@@ronburgundy1033 yes, use the actual release dolphin app in order to run at higher resolutions, i put it at that resolution because it has no frame.drops, and it looks like a ds game which i enjoy since the screen is so small
@@louismontrose8966 its very much playable, u can upscale it on the appstore version of dolphin, the point of me doing all this is to show u the best performance possible while still being able to see and read "playable"
I am using open gl by the way because mario kart double dash's screen was all glitched but when i changed it to open GL it made it A lot better and it makes it look better imo and it doesnt affect perfromance at all!
I show in the settings, if u go to cheat codes and go to the sheet, u can put ur own resolution, i had it at 45 (which is like .45) but im sure u can go higher, i just like the pixel ds/gameboy look and it usually runs better
3:22 Nice to see footage of this cutscene; that, Dragon Roost Island and the Molgera fight are the perfect benchmarks to see how good does Wind Waker run.
Lol yes, i put background photo of the consol because im not home alot to do my set up so i would take longer to release videos, but the whole video is screen recorded from my rp2s its not faked just cropped onto a picture

Can you run it in higher resolution ? It’s a little bit grainy ?

The parts of the game i dont show run smooth and perfect, there is some pop in due to the Vulken engine after dragon roost, but thats it tbh
In person the resolution this guy uses is 0.45 which is so ugly it’s unplayable anything below 0.7 becomes terrible

Thats why its best to edit separate game settings because each game has their own perks lol
Why not use dolphin official? I've been using it with basically zero issues
There is slow downs/drop of frames more often and i like the pixel retro ds/gameboy look more

Yes you will have to use dolphin mmj2 because for some reason it doesnt open on dolphin for handheld
