Why does this happen
What if the title isn't available in your country and you buy it online and then you try to watch it after purchasing can you still watch it when you go on your app through your account theres movies you can buy from other accounts that are unavailable in other countries but you can buy if you switch countries through amazon

my problem is different. i have a purchased movie i buy long ago and it plays on my laptop and ispad but when i try to play it on my firestick it says the video is unavailable.

If you are running any Android or IOS based apps you cannot purchase any stuff on that app of amazon (like Kindle or video)
why ? you ask
Google and Apple ask for money when anything is purchased by their platform, so amazon worked this way around to save money for themselves or for us who knows

This is nothing to do with Amazon. It is Apple policy to force purchases through the istore so they can take a %.

Excellent information. But 20.00 to have something online that you can't hold in your hand is scary. I collected videos, DVDs, CDs, etc through out the years. Watching the big tech trying to be the control arm for the next generation has made me keep my DVD and CD player. I almost want to throw away all cellphones and tablets. We're getting there. ❤️😭

Purchasing and buying movies on the website is the only way you can purchase the movie, using the website is much easier to purchase compared to the app

amazon prime should not charge extra for movies and tv shows it all be free like netflix does it is a big rip off if you ask me plus sometimes when I have watched stuff for free it will change it to buy or rent now even though it was free at the start it did while watching my wife and kids now I can not watch it for free now 😡😡😡😡😡😡
