It all depends. Superior Drummer sounds very natural and raw, and usually takes a lot of tweaking to fit into a mix. NI drums come with some built in processing, and are pretty much ready to go without any additional processing. It is all a matter of preference.
Cornelis, thanks for your feedback. I haven't tried vol 3, but it seems really cool with the extra effects built-in. Some day I will probably purchase it, but right now I already have a lot of drum samples for my needs. If you try it, you will have to let me know what you think.
