Just got into this DAW as a way of stepping aside from the laptop/ableton/logic landscape, loved Flstudio mobile but this is so unique thank you so much for the instructions!!
Same here - I have close to 10 years of experience in FL and it's sitll my main driver but dang this software is amazing for jamming on a tablet - also funnily enough it's also very similiar to FL with the pattern blocks / timeline etc.
I don’t know why I find this interface so appealing, it looks complex but is also very functional. Maybe it reminds me of something I worked on long ago. 😊 Thanks for the tutorial Leo!
Super duper clearing concise tutorials. This has been a huge help.... I do have one question though.... What is the best method for recording my vocals live into SunVox. I'm on an Android device, not using any microphone except the input on the tablet. Not sure how to set that up with the modules to get it to record my voice and then add effects afterwards.... Any help is greatly appreciated
Excellent. FYI - I had to click the tiny square in the upper right corner to “on” so that the cursor would activate where the screen was tapped, as shown in he video. Don’t recall if that is default or not.
Thanks for all you do, Leo! Unfortunately, I'm STILL having trouble getting "happy" with Sunvox. This silly tracker thingy reminds me too much of my DOS days and every time I see it, I get turned off from my bad DOS memories - TY, Microsoft. 🙂
So if you add an effect (vibrato with 04 in this example), it overrides the controller entry? Meaning you can have either a controller present OR an effect?
You can record live in a pattern, I will show you that as well… but you need to understand how the pattern editor works first otherwise beginners will not understand how to go about what has been recorded live … recording live is covered in one of the next tutorial… and you can also use an external midi controller too… :)

A Commodore Amiga?
@@soundformore That could be it! Or a TI 99/4A.
Loved the Amiga, silly Commodore… :(
Dear Leo , are you going to make more tutorials about Sunvox ? I just love the way you make things clear. Hope you will do it.
Thank you.
Sure, as subscribers ask as you just did…

Great stuff 👍🏻 I love SunVox the funbox, cheers Leo 🍻
Lots of fun, this is just the start…
This reminds me of Octomed on the Amiga 30 years ago 😊
On the Amiga point wait for the next video…
Thanks!

Yes that is to switch selection on or off…
it is not and thank you!
Ok

Oh dear, yeah I do not like DOS, but I like my Linux terminal…

You can have both
good stuff
Great
Must admit, I find it odd that you can’t record live into a pattern.

@@soundformore yes, but it’s always a new pattern , you can’t overdub.
You create another pattern… ;)
Tnx again !!!
You are welcome
