    With the new rocket strider, the quadrillion hulks and reduced gunship durability , I now place the AMR on par with the AC. While it doesn't have the fab destruction capability, nor the stagger, the straight immense amount of hulks now makes it on par as it's much easier to take out hulks with the AMR. 1 shotting the rocket striders that take a lot more rounds now with the AC is a huge bonus. Paired with supply pack and the new armor makes it downright disgusting as a mid-long range absolute monster of a gun. I use it against everything including troopers, with a crossbow for fabs and verdict for troopers when I'm not overwhelmed with 5000 devastators

      Also the 2-3 shotting of gunships from across the map with the scope to help your team survive an unexpected patrol and the easier time spotting, sniping and peekshooting the fortress turrets. You're really just trading stagger and explosive properties for a much more precise, agile, fast RoF that can abuse the very longe ranges of engagement or quickly magdump at close range. Its a jack of all trades weapon that can be used as a primary with your favourite bacpack wacky primary and can take out all the bot enemies in a reasonable time.

      It’s an A for me. Unaligned scope, often being rushed by the bots. Awkwardly long reload time.

      @@DillonMagreveous misaligned scope is meaningless. The reload speed doesn't matter, since you can move, and it's really fast if you have 1 round left. Idk how you can get overwhelmed with it, it has insane DPS against all enemies. Beats the railgun, beats the AC, beats the HMG (not on paper, but you're gonna miss some of em shots).

    I think only strategem I think is out of place is orbital rail cannon. That’s a C tier strategem imo for how little it will help over a whole mission

    Walking barrage...kite drops or bases away from the team, they'll form a nice conga line and you can walking barrage them all down. Solid. It's all about your own positioning.

      Also, how awesome would it be to be able to combo strategems. Drop a gas then overlay a napalm strike or incendiary grenade to ignite it 🔥 or drop orbital EMS and targets affected take extra damage from Arc weapons/tesla tower.

    Brought the Emancipator mech to a bot mission. Immediately got torn apart by rockets. Waited for the insanely long cooldown, dropped it again, and it immediately got one shot by a laser cannon. If it’s going to have a such a ridiculous cooldown, it needs to have way more HP. In its current state, it’s just a waste of a stratagem slot.

    Ballistic shield was S-tier but with the crazy ragdoll from the rocket strider and rocket tank it really took a hit. Probably high B to low A tier now.

      Not if it gets destroyed after only a couple hits of the new rocket strider! Try it, you need to use it like fine china!

      @@MaplewoodLIVE that’s why I said high B or low A. Still requires direct hits and multiple ones. I’ve only ever been directly hit by those rockets a couple of times. Usually it misses and just ragdolls me 40 yards which is the primary thing that really hurts the shield, the constant ragdoll now.

    I have an old computer that doesn't love graphical intensity, so it chugs a little when I scope in on the AMR and the autocannon. I tried the HMG per your recommendation and it is a great pick versus bots, thanks for that!

    Eagle strafing run should at least destroy fabricators. Especially since it can destroy Shrieker nests

      It can destroy a fabricator. You just need to aline it with the vents and ensure that rounds enter the vent by distance placement. About 5-10m away

    Railgun, rocket sentry, walking barrage, orbital airburst (thermite) : Paired with my friend who uses spear and various other stratagems
    Both walking barrage and orbital airburst I have found to be exceedingly useful since the buffs. Walking is super nice so I don't have to go completely out of position or put my self in as much danger to engage something like mortars, and they have performed quite well in suppressing bot drops (big radius and the first 2 volleys are very close together near the beacon). It is roughly as capable in a defensive role as it is for offense, so pretty good.
    Orbital airburst is great for many of the larger patrols or when 20 devastators roughly group up. Wide area of attack and tends to delete everything with medium armor in 2-3 blasts. I like the combination of deadliness and that it is fast in its attack, so I can quickly move into that spot instead of waiting around while getting in an increasingly bad position from other bot forces. The only thing I don't like about it is that sometimes random fragments will fly like 50 meters, where most of the time it is safe to be around 35-40 meters away.

    The main thing about the arc thrower IMO is that the aim isn't as reliable as it used to be. Staggering hulks was nice and all, but even without it, if it could reliably two shot them (on top of being very useful against devastators, striders and berserkers alike), it would be at least decent.

    (for the supplypack and supplys, you can double supplys if you throw the supply strategem ball after the first one landed.
    and you can just give your teammates the supplys in the backpack, and then take the acual supplys youreself, refilling the pack.)

    walking barrage is A tier and better than 120 and sometimes even more than 380

      I think it's high a tier honestly. I know how to place them & the buff from last patch definitely puts them there now. I didn't use them as much cause the spread was too far away from each other. I just want the cooldown or more upgrades to make it cool down faster or hit harder again

      honestly this is the only thing stopping it from being higher vs the 380, I just find so much more value per mission with a 380. The walking barrage is just more situational atm

    if you bring something like a precision strike or rocket pods, ive found that the commando is on par with the autocannon, its great against tanks, hulks, and allat, and if you dont use it in combination with your team, you can very easily make it last the full cooldown, another thing is the dominator, it can take on every mid tier enemy, and thats where the commando comes in, its a good fallback against everything

    C tier for ballistic shield is nasty work. I think that’s harsh. It’s still really good against all the non-rocket projectiles and you’re getting smoked whether you have a shield or not if you’re getting hit by devastator/tank/turret rockets. I’d have it low A/high B, especially paired with crossbow

      Problem is the new striders are everywhere on bots 10 its possible to get a variant with few but you're rolling the dice. They completely counter the BS and you quickly see that after it keeps breaking and you have to either not use it for fear of it breaking or use and wait on a timer to get another one!

    something that could make the flamethrower potentially really good without breakinng it is making it so that every x projectiles from it takes off 1 armour level on whatever it hits so that 2 or 3 seconds of direct fire brings down the armour class of something by one, it'd make it great as a support weapon to combo with medium pen stuff vs heavies or light pen stuff vs medium groups, your machine gun would do double damage to devastators that have had a flamethrower on them and stalwarts could start affecting them, hulk bodies could be targeted by so many more weapons if you could stun and burn it for a couple seconds and it emphasises group play if you still make it so flame throwers don't do damage until the enemy gets down to it's own armour pen, like flame thrower solo would still take a while on hulks and need multiples stuns but with just one ally it's trivialised

      also the ballistic shield should have an EAT or commando cooldown speed and should reduce ragdolls to flinches with multiple rockets being needed to break it

    Honestly even though the stuff on c tier is worse than other options it’s all still usable and can even be extremely fun with the right build. Tbh the bot front is peak helldivers when it comes to not really feeling too restrictive when it comes to loadouts and just being able to ball out or have fun regardless

    I wonder how cool it would be for the eagle strafing run to be like how warthog strafing runs work in other games. Having the eagle do multiple passes would be pretty cool to increase saturation on the target. Same could go with rocket pods in the future! Maybe that’ll be a new ship module or something like “increased fuel reserves” or something.

    My problem with the arc thrower is not range but the charge up time in order to fire and it doesn’t kill chargers efficiently it takes forever add stagger to that and it’s a no go for me

    The AC mech is a lot of fun of Eradicate missions, otherwise I refuse to use them elsewhere. Ballistic shield is definitely feels like a liability, even after they fixed the bug last patch.

    Your placement of orbital/eagle smoke is crazy. It is a superb stratagem for bots. Smoke utility is absolutely incredible if you know how to use it properly.
    I’d challenge putting AMR in S-tier too but that’s more subjective. I think is comfortably a tier below the AC with worse ammo and no explosive.
    I do agree that 500kg is better than orbital precision but the shared cooldown with eagle airstrike can be a bit problematic. I favour the 500kg if I am not taking eagle airstrike and orbital precision if I am.

      I bring smoke all the time. It can consistently take out fabricators. Makes geo missions a breeze and allows you to assault command bunkers rather than having to throw heavy ordinance from range.
      Also makes extract super easy

      I brought it because I was trying new things, and I was so surprised by how effective it was to hide hellbombs, run away, and surprise a hulk. I do play on level 6-7 most of the time, so take this with a grain of salt.

      ​@RichSmithsonI don't like to give up a stratagem for it, I usually take smoke grenades since I'm usually taking something that can take hulks from the front. It's great for cooking off in your hand while you use terminals, covering an escape and covering extracts.

      Smoke is great but I prefer the grenades, P strike if I'm taking air strike for sure, AMR is less ammo and no explosive but it handles better, leaves you backpack options and often kills in similar times if you're accurate like hulks to the eye, strider bellies, scouts and heat vents. I'd say AC and AMR are about as good as each other depending on your play style and what else you're bringing

      @RichSmithson because most people don’t understand the value it offers or how to use it properly. Being able to completely disengage a bot drop that comes in at a POI or minor base saves massive amounts of time and reinforcements. Plus, you will never have had such an stress-free extraction as you will when you extract with someone using smokes. You can place it down on objectives whilst you do them to completely confuse enemies - for example: on evacuate personnel if you place smoke on the entrances, the bots won’t even see you or the civilians so won’t even try to enter the base. Lastly, you can use it to create kill zones that bots will willingly walk into. They can’t see you so they walk into the smoke to try to find you and emerge one-by-one, right into your crosshairs. Smoke is AMAZING.

    The gaurd dog is shooting accurate now. Shooting headshot on devastators every time. And with better ammo economy it is on the same place a the rover one.

      Cant say I agree, tested it on stream. You need to be dead center with the devastator for it hit it in the eye, if you even a little off center it will miss and just hit next to it doing no damage.

    I don't think there need to be changes to weapons just because they struggle on one of the fronts. It makes more sense for some weapons be more dedicated to certain fronts. Like Laser Cannon is good against bots and flamer is (still) good against bugs.
    Only weapons/strats that really need changing are ones that struggle on all fronts.

      While I agree with you overall it would be nice to see all weapons/strats at least be in a useable state at like a lvl 6-7. Several wouldn't even need big changes to be competent honestly, while some like the blitzzer will always be a tough sell on the bots side for instance

    quasar cannon is B tier on super helldive I'm sorry..it shoots only 1 shot but doesn't even 1 shot kill any tank, plus it takes roughly 20 seconds to reload and be able to shoot the next shot(because of it's 3 second charge shot time). Mine as well bring the spear or commando now because infinite ammo/auto reload isn't enough anymore with all these artillery tanks, gunships, hulks swarming on super helldive. But otherwise great video btw!

    My eradicate missions look like this all 4 of us run laser 380 120 and walking call them in once we see a bit drop then run out of bounds to get that barrage from being a traitor and we clear them and extract in 2-3 minutes

      haha I love using it until I take one of those new rocket striders rockets to the face, its fantastic until you run into one of those variants and if you dont kill them all they will make your 3min cooldown feel very long!

    Does the 380 kill detector towers? Maybe a stupid question but only started using the 380 this week and we have been on bugs for a majority of the new update not really got the chance to test myself

      Yeah 380 destorys detector towers, stratagem jammers, science facilities, mortar emplacements, anti air emplacements, command bunker, gunship objective ( not fabricators ) 2 shots factory striders shriker nest, spore spewers, 2 shots bile titans. I think that's everything off the top of my head safe range for it is 60m for 380mm. walking barrage, 380mm barrage and traitor barrage use the same rounds

      380 is the exact same as the orbital precision, so yes definitely. However you obviously can't guarantee that any will land on the tower and destroy it

    is the autocannon not terrible against the new striders? it takes like 4-5 shots on average or 2-3 shots on the legs. I personally hate this weapon against them, but maybe i'm just missing something(or just trash lol)

      If you shoot the rockets on the side of the heavy strider, even with a primary, they exploded and instantly kill it. (Most of the time, heard it can glitch)

    I just wouldn't call the bottom tier "needs changes" because it's intentional design to have some weapons not work that well against bots but be a good choice against bugs. It's misleading for all the people prone to indoctrination, especially with the hermetically sealed bubbles of hivemind mentality regarding the current state of the game.

      I have but with a 3min cooldown its hard to want to bring something with such short range to a super helldive that can be killed almost immediately similar to bugs where a charger could just waste that 3 min cooldown

    The big Shield generator in C is criminal.
    Shield Generator + Autocannon is a devastating combination, you get all the boom boom that an autocannon brings while behind the safety of your giant fuck you bubble that prevents aimpunch from the 9 bagillion minigun devastators around you.
    I would make the shield gen last longer if it needs a buff but even as is. Its insanely good paired with the Autocannon. Just dont get walked at by chainsaw dudes, your autocannon can and will stun them.

      I would love so much to use the shield generator but too many times I bring it and it dies in seconds on tier 10. Its criminal for the devs to keep it in the state its in overall. Its useable and pretty great on tier 6-7 but the sheer volume of enemies makes it look terrible on tier 10. I wish I still had the clip where the shield got deleted in 3 seconds by a small bot drop I would so post it here!

      Tried it on 10 for shits and giggles and it goes down in seconds against a bot drop.
      It should really have infinite or almost infinite HP imo. Kinda like a gunner shield from DRG.
