Both the countries have their own unique geographical territories, government and people. These two countries have a very strong anceint background that lasts for more than 1000 years and have always maintained political and other exchanges for time immemorable. Though there might be conflicts in between but accroding to my guess there might not be any such full fledged battle. As an Indian descent with my great grandmom being a chinese I really hope that there might be further discussions between two countries to strengthen their strengths cause both India and China are some of the notable powers in all Asia and if they come to an agreement it means most of the asian countries would and thus help to deter those invaders of the west that show their covetness upon our land with their senile brains.
Chinese know very little about India because when they travel their top destinations are Southeast Asia, Europe, East Asia, Australia and NZ, North America, only Backpackers visit India. That’s not gonna help with cultural exchanges.
In a nutshell, the key reason why the two countries have this skewed view of each other is the media companies' work in the two countries. Indian media message is consistently negative on China, whilst Chinese media (which is mainly state-owned) message is nuanced, more balanced, and shows Indian society MORE reflectively of what it really is like in reality (ie. having both good and bad aspects, like what any normal country would have). So, I believe Chinese media will probably achieve a better service for their audience.
Indian media are mostly owned by elites slanted to Western bias. Unless they tone down their Western elites' narratives, be more balanced on Geopolitics and economics, and focus more on the ordinary people's well-being, they will always be subjected to Western influence unlike China who had chosen an Independent path to develop the country.

India is trapped by its own caste system. The country claims such system is no longer practiced. However; majority of the population in their psyche that system is accepted and somewhat revered. The elites depend on such system to govern the country.
In Hindu Dharma, birth based caste is a recent times colonial superstition, however Varna (Occupation) was the original one, in Varna there was no upper or lower, people chose the work of which they are qualified for, and according to Bhagavad Gita, anyone can be a Brahmin (Teacher, Scholar profession), Shatriya (Warrior, Army profession), Vaishya (Trader, Business profession), Shudra (Other social workers) based on as per their skills, knowledge, and capabilities: 🔹In Bhagavad Gita 4:13, Krishna says that he created different Varnas [Profession] on the basis of one's Karma [Activities] and Guna [Characteristics]. 🔹Bhagavad Gita 5:18 “The truly learned, with the eyes of divine knowledge, see with equal vision a Brahmin, a cow, an elephant, a dog, and a dog-eater” 🔹Bhagavad Gita 9:29 “I am equally disposed to all living entities: there is neither friend nor foe to Me: but those who with living sentiments render divotional service unto Me, such persons are in Me and I am in them.” 🔹Bhagavad Gita 18:41 “The duties of the Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shudras are distributed in accordance with their Guṇas [Characteristics]. (Nothing comes with the birth except some divine Characteristics). Caste is an English term derived from the Spanish term “Casta” which stands for 'Breed' or 'lineage'. During earlier times, “Caste” use to be Varna (Profession) and based on Guna (Characteristics) and not merely just by birth. Instances from the ancient times proves that a so-called modern day “lower caste” can educate oneself with knowledge and change their Varna (Profession) to “upper caste”, e.g., Guru Valmiki, Kabir Das were from a Shudra family but became a Brahmin based on Guna (Characteristics or Essence), Ravana and his younger brother Kumbhakarna were Brahmins (educated person) from Northern India but because of their notorious Karmas (activities) all were punished by Shri Rama (believed to be an OBC if we abide by today's caste categorization). Lastly, you have to understand the British motive behind imposing the caste system:- The Caucasians (Europeans) created Hutus and Tutsis in Rwanda, Africa, to divide and control the native population, and for this reason, the Rwanda Genocide occurred. The same attempts and inequalities Europeans also tried to create amongst Indians by separating Northern India and Southern India into “Aryans” VS “Dravidians” and further dividing Hinduism into 3,000 castes and 25,000 sub-castes. Read about Herbert Hope Risley who created casteism, racism in Indian society by one's facial features and skin color, and Bishop Robert Caldwell who coined the term “Dravidian” and propagated the “Aryan Invasion” in Southern India to convert Southern Indians into Christianity. And read these books (1) Castes of Minds by Nicholas Dirks, (2) Western Foundations of the Caste System

It’s obvious the public from both countries prefer peace. It’s d media n geopolitics, that bedevil the relation.
What about india from Chinese view
Yoga Buddha and Curry
What about China from Indian view
LAC conflict and CCP
Hinduism is way different than Buddhism. Buddhism is a minority religion in India.

所有中国人都知道,印度是世界上最强大的国家,韩国只能是第二名,中国台湾省第三,美国只能排第四。
as chinese i'd say,
chinese people never see india as foe.
chinese culture are deeply influenced by india, for example every chinese know buddhism, the biggst religion in china, was come from india.
every chinese know something about indian movies, music, dances, foods, yoga, traditional medicine, beautiful women, etc. chinese take indian culture positively.
but chinese people mostly know nothing about modern india, they may think india is poor, dirty, still has cast-system, not friendly to women, dangerous.
and chinese people don't take boarder argument with india seriously, we are neighbours, neighbours fight is common stuff, sometimes we fight, sometimes we work together, no one thinks it's a big deal.
Thanks Chinese brother
We also never seen China as a foe
But then the border issues, China close friendship with pakistan and theCOVID pandemic put a negative views on indian for china.
And this is true india is poor and dirty country.
But it's been there after India's independence
The government mismanagement for almost 60 years
Indian Congress party which never thought of improving and using Indian's big population for anything useful for it's economy..
And the
Caste system and women safety is not a very big problems in India as of now it's in control
By our current government leading by PM Modi ji.
India is definitely like 20 30 years behind China in development
But now we have good government inspired from China's growth
To improve our country

India is trapped by its own caste system. The country claims such system is no longer practiced. However; majority of the population in their psyche that system is accepted and somewhat revered. The elites depend on such system to govern the country.
That's not necessarily true. You are only seeing one side of coin
the manager of a lower caste will have a problem managing people from a higher caste.
What a stupid comment.
Lol can you prove it and please come up with facts not with trust me bro ideology..... 😂🤣
In Hindu Dharma, birth based caste is a recent times colonial superstition, however Varna (Occupation) was the original one, in Varna there was no upper or lower, people chose the work of which they are qualified for, and according to Bhagavad Gita, anyone can be a Brahmin (Teacher, Scholar profession), Shatriya (Warrior, Army profession), Vaishya (Trader, Business profession), Shudra (Other social workers) based on as per their skills, knowledge, and capabilities:
🔹In Bhagavad Gita 4:13, Krishna says that he created different Varnas [Profession] on the basis of one's Karma [Activities] and Guna [Characteristics].
🔹Bhagavad Gita 5:18 “The truly learned, with the eyes of divine knowledge, see with equal vision a Brahmin, a cow, an elephant, a dog, and a dog-eater”
🔹Bhagavad Gita 9:29 “I am equally disposed to all living entities: there is neither friend nor foe to Me: but those who with living sentiments render divotional service unto Me, such persons are in Me and I am in them.”
🔹Bhagavad Gita 18:41 “The duties of the Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shudras are distributed in accordance with their Guṇas [Characteristics].
Lastly, you have to understand the British motive behind imposing the caste system:-
The Caucasians (Europeans) created Hutus and Tutsis in Rwanda, Africa, to divide and control the native population, and for this reason, the Rwanda Genocide occurred.
Maybe pick some quieter locations to conduct interviews. Jeez.
I respect both country but I honestly hope both should be friends all the time like my country I got a lot of indian friends n Muslims too.✌️

Every Chinese knows about the border conflict between China and India, but no one cares about it, unlike India which reports negative news about China all day. China does not pay much attention to India, our political focus is on Taiwan and the United States.
Many of us don’t want to care about and understand politics, but many people have good intentions towards every country because we think every country has beautiful things and kind people.
