As having a prostetic leg myself since jan24 its crazy he could do that - its exhausting just walking w/ a prostetic ( my other foot has a degenerate foot condition called charcot which has the bones in foot extremely brittle & weak on top of some being infected battling 3 years of infected foot ulcers ) i describe it like walking on a steep incline on a treadmill thats being pushed around - 1st hour of walking is ok , but after that its exhausting - unbelievable how determined he was & like u stated the technology wasnt there yet - i was walking free of a walker/ cane 31 days after receiving my prostetic - it's not a ? of IF but WHEN my remaing foot will collapse thus becoming a double amputee - i essentially save my steps for seeing my family, going to appts & "running" errands & of course doing things w/ my life - im @ peace w/ when my remaing foot collapses, all i can do is live my best life & live by 2 sayings- #1 it can always be worse & #2 embrace the suck- great vid & I'm glad to revisit his story- much appreciated
