It's very sad that there's a lot of content creators who don't make it because of the algorithm not pushing their content. I also agree with the mentality of helping other content creators and growing the community that way. I've tried to do that in my videos and have their links in the description but I'm still too small to make an impact.
Yo I'ma come sub, I run a few diff types of content if u ever wanna Collab, the small group of ppl I have are super loyal and will check you out. I do a podcast, lots of shorts, and a snowflake RS3 iron rn got a few loot vids in the editing process. We got this bro
J1mmy did a video recently for FSW in RS3 and actually gave it a proper shot and really genuinely liked the game and did his best to express that to his OSRS audience, so I think that will hopefully help push the game to a better acceptance for that audience. Waydot has been doing a RS3 series too, bringing more acceptance from the OS community. Unsure if you mentioned this in the vid as I commented early on, but mentioning it incase. Great videos recently. Met you the other day, will defs keep watching the videos lol
the main problem is that rs3 took a hit with EoC so bad that the people who switched to osrs never looked back and they would tell anyone new on osrs to never try rs3 cause its just p2w trash and then those new players tell other people the same now we see more and more osrs content creators trying and actually liking rs3 so hopefully that divide will get smaller
@@Daltonownzyoulol I've got a few of my IRL friends to watch J1mmys video on RS3 and all of them have said how great RS3 looks but they're too busy doing GIM or other OSRS specific stuff to care about picking it back up. Part of the issues will always and forever lie between the stark contrasts of the dev teams for each game
For any osrs only player that might see this comment, your membership is for both games, just login to rs3 with your details to start a rs3 character that already has membership you just cant be logged into rs3 and osrs on that account at the same time
@laser reply; I think we just need to have quality research before putting a "guide" or "must do" video out. To be honest I was very interested in this channel at the very start and it feels like it went off the rails. More recent videos have been much more in-line with the start. I'm sure you can see how long ago i watched your first vids and when I dropped off.
I made a snowflake iron out of my love for RS3 Dungeon locked iron man 😊 I play osrs also but RS3 is way funner fr. I have a pvm series where I "save RuneScape" by bringing in new players either from osrs or irl. Just gotta keep doing our thing out of love.
a tip that might get some people into newer creators, just search runescape 3 and filter by month very likely to have someone you never heard of, very likely they have 100 subs or less, doesnt hurt to give their videos a try
@@lasersharks Was really excited by your Necromancy video. I really like the lore of the game too and find your takes to be unique, at least, amongst the RS3 content creators I have been able to find through the algorithm.
Yeah It's hard starting out as an rs3 content creator, especially as my editing skills are fairly poor. I've amassed a nice little following and I love my subs a lot. I love doing it all, but it's hard to keep the content flowing when real life is a thing.
im a osrs veteran and know as a walking osrs wiki and play rs3 mainly since multi revs died in osrs, the secret to bring in new players is making better guides about the combat system and styles of fighting and explaining bleeds, burns, thresholds, ulitmates (break down the maths and just talk plain english about how an ability should be built to suit play) i could go on with a massive amount of barriers getting osrs players playing...i used to say if i ever played rs3 then ######### me cause i never would but now i play it. P.S. regarding the content makers building up each other, osrs had 2 main groups that would pass around viewers to team members (when 1 streamer got offline he or she sent all viewers to a content streaming team mate then that person had a 6hr audience then passed the viewers onto another team member and this worked for 1 year to build a solid amount of casual viewers in all time zones at all hours.
Ur attitude to making videos is why we get trash news click bait articles online. It's easier to make lazy content because they get the clicks but at the end of the daily your adding to the problem 🙃
16:20 it might have helped people find content such as the stuff mentioned here if it wasn't tucked away behind 16 minutes of reasons why the content doesn't exist
Yeah man, seeing the Twitch channel for RS3 always dead, and everything else it can sometimes make me wonder if RS3 will survive? Am I wasting my time playing even if I enjoy it? Should I just switch to OSRS? IIIIIIIdk
It does feel hopeless at times, you can survive making the update guide stuff but will you be satisfied? For me I'm a creator artist first and educator second
@@lasersharks Ah yeah I've certainly watched your stuff for a bit now, and Ive played the game for a long long time, back when OSRS was just Runescape. I guess I just fear Rs3 dying for real one day, i sure hope not
Actually no these videos get like 300 views what is there to milk Karl, I have always done these videos where I make a topic get my channels feed back and open the conversation so Karl, next time you use your judgemental fingers to type try and turn your brain on. Have a nice life Karl

I did 😂 we need more trust worthy osrs voices to vouch for us

Not gonna lie, if you made a Lore series I'd watch it for narration quality alone.
I am passionate about the lore is why lol

It's good to see you back. A point about these videos, there are loads of ironman content creators going through the ropes.
That's good to see but they need to start thinking "what makes my content special, what separates me from the pack"
@@lasersharks Absolutely. The ones I've seen seem to be brand new to making youtube.
