Kyuho definitely looks like a Korean guy 😂 I’m from Hong Kong and have been living in Canada for almost 35 years, until this day, I find most North Americans still can’t tell the difference between Asians, but most Asians can distinguish ourselves by just looking at each other, our facial features, the way we dress, mannerism, we can just tell 😅
Btw, I love how non-Asian people are always so obsessed with trying to tell apart Asians when no one can distinguish between French, Swiss, German, Austrian etc., by looks alone.
Wife and I are depressed after being back from a 3-week trip home to Poland. Your content always cheers us up (esp after you went through this some time ago). Japan looks enticing as always, whether it's on your channel, Abroad in Japan, Sharneleon, or PewDiePie...
Enjoying this Japan vacation of yours. It was great following you through the housewares area. Loved the pieces and just different content than many Japan travel vlogs.
Thank you for your videos guys. I have a 1 month old and I've been watching your videos during late night feeds. There is something so comforting about them. Can't wait to watch this one later!
Those blue tea cups looked beautiful! We have a set of ramen bowls that are similar in color that my wife's relative from Japan got us one year. Love using the bowls all the time. One time, I accidently banged one against the sink while washing and it split it half. I wanted to punch myself so hard that day lol. Glad you got 2 of those cat cups too. I was screaming at the screen, get two get two!!! Lol. God I feel you with all the walking, especially in hot weather. Last time we were there, when we were in Kyoto for a couple days, each day we did like 30k+ steps. Literal non stop walking from sun rise to sun down. It was wild and I don't know how I was able to walk after that. Feet hurt so bad haha.
I just knew you were going to buy the cute cup with the cat that looked so much like Beemo. When you were deciding on one or two, I was like, "Get two, get two!" I loved the chopstick holders. They were so many. The couples' sets of chopsticks were so neat. I'm going to see if I can find some online. Enjoy Japan. When I was in high school, I thought of traveling to different places, but I did not. Don't worry, though, when I watch your videos, I get to see what other places are like.
Every Sunday morning I look forward to watching your video while drinking my coffee. I am going to Japan in a few weeks, so your Japan vlogs are much anticipated. After seeing the cute shops you visited in Kappabashi, it's on our list! Thank you so much for always producing such entertaining and warm content.
You make me miss Tokyo and Japan so much... I need to go again soon. I've been to Tokyo twice and I still haven't made it to SkyTree! So many different places to see and the shopping is crazy good. I vow to go there next time and explore this part of Tokyo including all the places you ate.
Another long sunday working and after showering and getting ready for the night i sat down and watched u guys enjoy ur japan trip, i love it, and the food looks amazing, karaage chicken is my all time fav ... thanks for sharing again, have a fun time
Glad I'm not the only one who shifts gears on vacation when I'm tired or over stimulated!😁👍 You're not going to have fun if your feet are sore, you're sweaty, and hangry. Good choices were made.
Kyuho I love trying different foods and lots of snacks, so I enjoy seeing you eat. Feel like I'm trying it. Sarah I feel like the nextdoor neighbour who is watching the both of you grow up.🤗😘
Ugh, I loooooove the videos from Japan, I haven't been since 2019, but will go from Korea in January for 4 days. I'm taking notes from this vlog, I didn't know there was a kitchenware street, I'll go most definitely !! and Sarah, that pyjama looks so comfortable, I'll try to find it. 😁
Hi Sarah! Hi Kyuho! OMG! I love Kappabashi! I always said that I would need one whole suitcase, just for all of the fun kitchen gadgets. Your chopsticks that you chose are beautiful! I love his and hers sets. When I was 11 and lived in Japan for 3 months, I was so impressed with the fake wax food at restaurants even back then. 😊 I have a question please…..how do you guys plan your trips? Restaurants, shopping, points of interest, etc? That pork tonjiru set looked amazing! How did you find that place? Summer in Japan is a no-no for me. Nikko in the fall is stunning you guys! If you’ve not ever stayed at a Ryokan, I highly recommend it. Sarah, I’m sure you have, because you lived in Japan. I can see you both walking about in your yukata’s, after having soaked in the hot springs, then enjoying the many different dishes of the incredible meal the ryokan will serve. I have so many memories of the many different ryokan’s that we stayed at, throughout the time we visited. Hontoni natsukashi! Thanks for sharing your very fun vacation with us!! That fortune you got Kyuho! Awesome, and BTW….. you ARE famous! 😊
Funny that you say that, because we DID end up having to buy a new suitcase in Japan before we flew back to Korea 😅 We usually do a little research on TikTok and Instagram, and also just browse around Google maps for restaurants in the areas we know we’ll be staying in or around that particular day :) I (Sarah) did stay in a Ryokan before and loooved the experience. I’d love to go together sometime in a quieter prefecture 🌿

I was in japan in early sept and my goodness, i have never felt more cooked alive. yet, somehow, i manage to walk 6-8 miles a day, every day! Asakusa was wonderful at night. Love your content, I am a sub now!
I always look forward to your videos on Sunday. I will take mx first trip ever to Japan next year in spring. In which hotel did you stay in asakusa? The view is amazing
We were there about a week after you. We stayed in the Asakusa neighborhood….loved it and Tokyo’s kitchen. I found a cake mold I needed and candy molds.
@@2hearts1seoul I got a Ningyo-Yaki silicone cake mold. Those are the tiny little cakes they sell at the Temple shaped like Pagodas and birds and filled with sweet red bean paste. I couldn’t find the exact shapes I wanted but I found one with little sunflowers.
The japanese pudding!! They are so so good and I found them in the New Asian Food Market in Bayers Lake! It's in the frozen sections but they are authentic (expensive) but delicious! haha
I'd need a few days in Kappabashi for sure--my poor husband would have to go find something to do. I saw a little ceramic kappa next to all the tanuki, I know I'd be trying to figure out a way to get it home. I've been loving your JP vlogs; there have been some really wonderful shots!
Love this!! Love all your guys' videos! 😊 Sarah.. When are you going to do another video on your "First Page" channel??!! What new books have you been reading lately??!! 😊
It’s now October, but we keep having random days close to 30 degrees Celsius here in Tokyo. I’m really hoping that the heat will come to an end this week! I see it’s already cooler in Seoul. We’ll be in Seoul in December. No question that the weather will be cold then 😅
Hi kyuho & sarah!! Havent been able to comment much as life has been pretty hectic. Your videos have been a great way to unwind from all the exhausting weekends filled with child-rearing LOL. (my fav chopstick holder has got to be the potato one 😂)
Hi Kyyoho and Sara, I am glad you are enjoying Japan. My hubby and I went to Japan twice during the holidays twice. You should visit during the holidays meaning Christmas and New Years. It is the best time. Guess what, mu hubbn and I are celebrating 21 yrs of marriage and going to Canada on 24 Oct 2024 - 10 Nov 2024. We will be driving there because we live in Ohio. We want to head to Ontario and Quebec and maybe Ottawa. Any suggestions?? We used to go to Canada many years ago. Thank you.
It really depends what your style of travel is. If you want exciting nightlife, Asakusa is not the place to stay, since it’s more of a quiet residential area at night. But we personally love that, since we are usually out all day when we travel and are too exhausted to go partying at night-we just like to go to quiet local pubs :)
