I personally prefer watching declutter/cleaning videos that is mainly b-roll fast forwarded. I find your videos to be perfectly balanced and enjoyable! Pls don’t change too much of the way you do/edit your decluttering/cleaning videos😁😄
you can use the ikea lids for the kids to work on puzzles on, or playdough or anything messy so as a little tray.
Ahhh I have a baby coming in 3ish weeks and my kitchen need some organizing/decluttering to make room for baby stuff! Thank you for the motivation!!

Maybe you could save an IKEA bin lid for puzzles. You could build your puzzle on it and be able to move off the table at mealtime if needed.

There are so many cool puzzle savers out now....ones who have drawers or compartments to store organized puzzle pieces too! You can work on them, then put them away (under the bed or couch) when u aren’t actively working on it! Happy Saturday, mama!! (I’m just thinking they could get dusty just sitting in a bin lid)

We use those lids to those ikea bins for art trays! So any time they use paints or slime or playdoh. I’m sure they’re already goners, but thought I’d throw that out there :)

Lol! So true!! My son likes a certain pair of track pants....his wardrobe, (with help form this page) now consists of 5 pairs of those pants, 3 pairs of shorts, and 7 won t shirts in neutral colors! Makes it so easy for him to get dressed and he is wearing his favorite items everyday! (Oh! And 3 hoodies! He’s 13, not sure if u have a teenager yet, but a hoodie is part of the u inform! I’m in south Florida and it’s 90 degrees, but these kids still have to have their hoodie!!lol!!🤍🤍🤍🤍

Hey just curious, what made you change your mind? I remember you saying you would never show us your kid's space or them too much on camera because you respect your children's privacy too much. I do enjoy these videos and appreciate the more personal content. Was just wondering if there was anything particular that changed your mind.
I also guess the kids want to be a part of her life and on camera more, I believe Calvin was the shiest :D hahah :) And we all love seeing them and want more content with them, so maybe she figured and went "hey, they want to be seen, the people want to see them, perhaps just let it roll naturally"
Like Emma S said, in the previous video Sarah decluttered some of their rooms but did a major close up of like only the toy box to keep their privacy still. She restated in the last video too the reason why she wasn’t showing their rooms. I don’t recall her saying anything about keeping her children entirely off of the camera, and the public play spaces have always been seen in other videos. So nothing too out of the ordinary here:)
I'm a young married mama, 23 with 2 children- and watching your videos reminds me to continue in our daily work with them faithfully in the Lord. Whether that's cleaning, laundry, homeschooling, playing with them--- it's so important and I need to give it my full attention. Even if nobody else is watching, I work for the Lord. Praying I continue in staying focused and remembering this on the hard days.
Just make sure you don’t get too caught up in the housework and “extras” focus on Funtime with your littles too! There is so much time for school!! You can make early learning so much fun with crafts and play too! There are so many resources out there now! I wish I had all the info that is readily available now, when my son was little! We did a lot

I didn’t work on decluttering and updating when everyone else was during quarantine. My house is now out of control, so I’m ready to tackle the whole house (down to painting every room....it’s been 13 years) and want it done before the next school year! Wish me luck!!:)💛
Sarah you're probably not even going to see this post but I just want to thank you! You have motivated me so much and gotten me out of a deep rut!! I started decluttering yesterday and it pains me deeply to stop to go to sleep lol. It might not seem like much to you but I was not raised as a minimalist. Quite the opposite. If i wanted to get rid of something my mother would guilt me into keeping it. So therefore i have irrational and unfunctional sentimental connection with everything i own. That makes decluttering and being minimal so much harder because "what if i need it" or "what if i regret this". Well yesterday i just decided i can't do it anymore. I have a house full of stuff i don't even know exist because i never see or use it. I have cluttered closets and spaces and to be honest it gives me extreme anxiety. I'm not nearly where you are but you are such an inspiration and I'll strive to raise my future children as you do yours in more ways than just being minimal. You won't be able to comprehend how much your videos mean to me. So thank you!

Dear parents!
When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they won’t see them anymore in their life. Every child should have the right to keep their things, if they can take good care of them all the time!!!

Sometimes it looks like you declutter and buy more and then declutter again.
Well being a RUclipsr she gets a ton of promotional advertisement PR stuff, and she’s transparent about that. Having little kids with birthdays and whatnot, you never know what family or friends will give you too. She’s also addressed criticism about this in the past where people claim she’s not a minimalist and she’s chill like “okay, you do you. My minimalism works for me” and even if she consumes a lot, she donates a ton too and allows others to find really nice stuff for cheap, so I don’t think it’s necessarily bad🙂
We are moving after being in our home for eight years and I'm so stoked to declutter all the things!!!
I'm due in June and need to do this so bad with my house. When you say I'm just not ready for that or mentally ready for that I COMPLETELY understand.

Personally, I think it might not be wise to store electronics in a bathroom. Moisture + electronics = sadness.
Jigsaw puzzles were a thing my husband and I did during lockdown. So understand the attraction. Also so inspired by you that I did a major declutter.. but soon realized it’s for sure an ongoing project. Yikes.. have many to donate! Thanks, Sarah! ❤️

Wow!! The spaces look great and what’s hilarious is I also worked at a thrift store and I agree soo much keeping things nice and organized help the work get done correctly and also helps get more products to the floor! So if you can, organize your stuff!!

We've been slowly decluttering and organising our super old house. We've had it since my grandparents were young and so its accumulated *a lot* of stuff over the past 60ish years. It's a difficult and frustrating process but my mum and I are making slow progress xD

those ikea lids would make good trays for keeping jigsaws or kids games on that are still being played or made but need to be moved about or stored

By the way, we dont use The IKEA bin lids either. But we use them as trays and it is great.
Trays for example in the kitchen or even for the Kids to play with.

I love your real life declutter videos! B roll is good!!;) I am also with child , our fourth too! This is so relatable! I love channels that keep it real. And show truth. I’m also a puzzle lover and have started doing them when I got pregnant as a way to just destress and do something for me. Btw: usually declutter videos are full of fast music and I find it more stressful! So I’m loving your music choices…chill jazz/ cafe /French jazz. I turn on that music at home to just do dishes to or read my devotional in the am.

What to do with shoes missing their match?
I've seen people posting single shoes on Facebook, in case some amputees are on the lookout. But like you understand, that takes so much time and then there's storing it and arranging pick up/drop off time....
So do shoes like these just go in (this is the part that makes me sick) the garbage?
You can put the blankets in a vacuum bag. You suck all the air out with the vacuum and everything gets way smaller. And these bags are very secure and closed. Sorry of there are grammar faults, but english is not my first language 😊

I always try but it’s so hard to let go sometimes. I always feel they are going to come in handy but they never do! We finally decided to get it done but we ended up throwing the kids switch cartridge carrier (with the games in it)in the dump by accident. So mad!

If found out that you can give ripped/destroyed clothes to places like goodwill because they will reuse the fabric for other things.

get a pothos and just put it in water. It will help filter the air and you dont have to water it. Just keep some in a container and it will grow in water forever.
I am curious why you choose to have toys in the bedrooms, main level AND basement? Why not put it all in one place? I find it much easier to maintain in my house. Just wondering!
I think kids like to play around their parents. Like if Sarah cooks they might prefer playing on the main level. If she’s working they rather play in the basement than two levels above.

A great place to donate your puzzles is mental health hospitals and senior homes they really do appreciate them so much and sometimes it's all they have to do while there
